I am definitely feeling better today. I actually wanted to eat something for the first time in days. I must say that it has been much easier dieting with no appetite though. I may actually meet one of my monthly weight loss goals this year

Speaking of that, how is everyone doing with their New Year's Resolutions?

Chris and I are both on track. I'm not sure how much Chris has lost, but I'm down 17 lbs since the first of the year I've got 4 more to get to my content spot though I'm hoping to get lower this time.

Thanks for all the 40th b'day wishes here and on FB. Very appreciated and sweet of y'all! John and I went to the Biltmore for 2 nights. It was wonderful. His grandmother died while we were gone, so we came back early and went straight to the funeral. Got home yesterday. Kids seem to be taking this one better. This is the 3rd great-grandmother they've lost in 6 months (my maternal in Sept, John's paternal in Nov, and his maternal this weekend). We are now out of grandparents, so hopefully no more funerals for a long time.

IT'S SNOWING HERE AGAIN, AND IS SUPPOSED TO SNOW ALL DAY AND MOST OF TOMORROW! If you can't tell, I'm yelling in anger about this

I'm so sick of winter!!! Thank heaven that I ran all the errands yesterday. Timothy and I can stay snuggled up in the house today. I have a movie I have to watch before Friday, so today will be the perfect day to do it.

Hey everyone, I got a PM from Jennifer. Avery is doing much, much better, but poor little Elise seems to have come down with the same thing, so her spirits are really down. She's reading along and thinking of everyone but just doesn't feel like posting.

Thanks guys. I'm really torn about this interview. Of course, I want to do well and be the top pick. However, there is a side of me that wishes I would blow the interview so I wouldn't have to make the decision on my own.

Man it was freezing at the soccer game. I don't remember it being that could during the FOOTBALL games! Nicholas' team won, which was a pleasant surprise since they've only had 2 practices. The other 2 were called due to rain last week. The score was 3-2, and Nicholas got 2 of their goals. He was goalie for one quarter, and he save a shot or two. I hate when he's goalie. It makes me so nervous.

WOOOHOO!!! WTG!! Nicholas

So they thought my Dad was going to be coming home before Thursday of this week. Instead he went back into surgery today as some of the stitches tore out from coughing. The surgeon reinforced the stitches, hopefully he will have no further issues. He will probably not be coming home until next week now.

I am watching Biggest Loser, although I may head to bed instead as I am exhausted and could not sleep last night. I have the worst attitude about everything lately. I have no motivation to do anything. I have no idea why.

I had great intentions of individual posts but I'm afraid I would miss too many so please know that you all have my best wishes.

I'm totally blown away by what I saw at work yesterday. A 19 year old boy that once worked at the store, and I worked with his mother years ago when she passed away from an infection after gall bladder surgery, was getting a prescription at the pharmacy.

I just can't get the picture of him so yellow out of my mind . . . .

Thanks for the update, Tammi and Jennifer. I'm praying for all of you. I know what it's like to have 2 babies down sick, and it takes it's toll. Jennifer, please get someone over to help you. Can your mom come over and help with the girls so you can get some rest? You really need to take care of yourself, or the depression will get worse. Believe me, I know. Been there, done that! If you can, get someone over to spell you off. It will help more than you think it will.
