I had a delivery of beautiful red roses from Dana this afternoon. :lovestruc

So I went to take a picture of them, go to turn on the light & knocked my camera on the floor & busted the lens. Broke! :sad2:

I love flowers for Just Because :goodvibes

On my way home. Weather is a bit cool, but no rain so I am thrilled. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I'll talk to you next week, as it is back to no tv and internet for me. :happytv: :surfweb: <imagine those smilies with the red line through them>

At least there is internet at work!!! :lmao: :surfweb:

SHHHHHHH don't tell my boss  :lmao:

(Just ignore the frumpy clothes, none of us are feeling too hot today so we all grabbed whatever under-clothing/PJ type stuff seemed comfy :) )

It's a bit chillier here than it has been, but still in the mid-50's and sunny - I'll take it. Let's hope Spring brings all the DDA households some illness-free weeks! ::yes::

Just too cute :goodvibes

I'm in a motel room in Lansing. My interview is Tuesday. I'll have to be making a decision soon.

I'm watching The Princess Bride. Of course, I can't see any part of it without thinking of Amy. :lmao:

I just wanted to drop in and say hi before I headed off to bed. We had a lovely afternoon/evening. I left work a few hours early (to beat the Friday traffic mess) and got home in time to get the kids off of the bus. My mom was here to do it if I wasn't. Shortly after we walked in the door their dad called. He told them since Grandma was visiting that they could stay here tonight but he would pick them up around noon tomorrow. They still don't want to go, but hey, it's better than nothing. Alyssa had Tap tonight so Mom and Nicholas came along to watch, as we decided to go out to dinner afterwards. It was nice that my mom was there because Alyssa's class got their costumes for their spring show today, and after they tried them on they invited all the parents into the studio while the kids were practicing the dance. Alyssa LOVES her costume. We decided to go to Red Lobster for dinner, and ate until we were stuffed. They have the BEST cheesy biscuits. We came home and played Cranium, Uno and Old Maid. Now everyone is in bed, which is where I'm heading.

Goodnight!

Tammi, one night is better than none. just wish it was for the whole weekend that you would have the kids.
Those biscuits are so so very good...

well if I don't get to sneak on at work tomorrow then I will chat with you all on Sunday

night

Good luck with your decision!

Well, a little maturity raised its lovely head yesterday! I am glad he let them stay with you all last night. I bet your Mom was very happy with that too. Sounds like a great evening all around. Have fun today!

Are you staying there for the weekend?

I know you have a lot of "soul-searching" to do as you make this decision, Vicki. I hope the right choice makes itself known to you with lots of clarity... and soon!

I'm glad he had a small breakthrough. It's nice that the kids got to spend some time with grammy and now you'll get some one on one time with Mom

I suspect you already know what you want to do. My only suggestion with the economy being what it is, is to specifically ask about job security. You wouldn't want to take a job that could disappear with budget constraints

It was a quiter night here :cool1: The coughing was not nearly as bad and I don't think I heard any potty runs. Hopefully the boys will wake up feeling much more rested and hopefully much better. We're letting them sleep as late as we can. Today is their last official day of bowling so hopefully they can participate. Colby's team is is first place so if he isn't able to bowl it could hurt the team.

I am looking forward to a fun afternoon and evening. My Disney friend who lives north of Baltimore is coming! Her DD is playing in a major soccer tournament here this weekend and I will get to watch a game and then go out to dinner. It has been far too long since we have gotten together.

She is the first internet Disney friend that I had the guts to go meet. (Our husbands were both certain we were going to be killed.) We picked a Disney Store in a mall between the two cities and she showed up with her DD dressed in a Minnie costume. That was 13 year ago. We have taken many WDW trips together as well as getting together in her neck of the woods. But she has never been to our area, so I am looking forward to her being here for a couple of days. :goodvibes

I hope the guys are on the mend too, Deb! Keeping my fingers crossed that they get to bowl too!

I hope you have a great time. It sounds like a fun time already

Tammi- :yay: :yay: :yay: for the kids having the night with your mom. Enjoy the rest of your visit!

Elin- Sounds like a great day ahead!! Enjoy.:goodvibes

Vicki- Lots of clarity for you this weekend as you ponder your direction.

Elizabeth- How's the eye this morning? Where'd you end up for dinner?

Terry- I hope you are healing well. :wizard:

Steffy- Hope you made it home and in bed by midnight!

Deb- Hope the boys wake up feeling better.

Heidi- Great news for your mom.

Good morning..>I promised that I read and caught up! hope everyone is feeling better today

Yesterday was the most amazing day--we did animal kingdom and magic kingdom--and got everything done

were headed to MGM (it will always be this to me!) and EPCOT now!
have a great day

Elin sounds like a fun day planned!

Deb I hope the boys are up to bowling today!

Jen have fun at the parks!

Eric left for his camp weekend last night. As much as I hate the money that these trips are sucking out of checkbook, I thoroughly enjoy the break it gives me.

The girls and I ran a few errands and then they had dinner while we sat and chatted. It's so much nicer without Eric around. ;) My mom came over and I met a few girlfriends for dinner. This morning we've had our breakfast and are hanging out for a bit. I need to drop Mo and Lu off to my mom's by 11am. Em and I are headed into Baltimore to the Walter Art Museum with the Brownie troop for a special program today. Should be a fun day.

We get back and then Gail and I are headed out to see her nephew perform in a "Gay Cabaret" show. Looking forward to that.

Tomorrow I plan on getting the girls early and just hanging out and relaxing. This week has been a blur and we all need some quiet time.
