I dont know the temp, but Hal was frozen thru when he came in from shoveling snow.

I was pricing out moderates last night. I'll talk to myBob and see what he says. I may be going solo. Or any of you ladies could join me. I've only stayed at POFQ so I have no idea which I would chose. I guess it would depend on what the discounts for that time of year look like.

When are you thinking of going???

I now have interviews set up for Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week....which is a good thing since there aren't any more jobs to apply to!!

I think if I were going to switch to a moderate, as much as we like POFQ, I would be tempted to look into CS. The rehab is almost done and most of the rooms have Queen beds now and new bedding! I was going to post a picture from the FAQ but it has been shut down. Something odd is going on there.

I was looking at those pictures last night, and reading the pros/cons between CB and CS. I like the fact that CB has the different 'islands', plus the fact that it is more beachy. I'm torn. If Bob decides to go, I think I just might let him choose.

I am loving the pictures of CS. That is where Stephanie and I are gonna stay for two days before our cruise. I said I wanted to try another resort and since I have lived in San Diego, I wanted to try the one that it was fashioned after.

Here are some new pix of CS (please notice the H2O spa products too... they are not at the other moderates):

CSR does offer the h20 products, but I do not think all rooms will have the full line as shown in the pictures. Cabana 9B is club level & if a convention is not booked they let whoever stay in those rooms(no access to the lounge though).

All rooms do have queen beds now & all will have the new decor & tv's

Good evening, DDA! I am trying to rejoin the land of the living, but so far without much luck. I skipped straight to this new chapter and then skimmed most of it without remembering much. Can someone give me a quick catch up on the goings on of the DDA?

Things around here have been okay. We had wonderful surprise company (my parents' best friends) two weekends ago as well as Terra's party. The party went well and she loved it all, which is all that matters. I'll try to post pictures soon. After the party and our company left, my mood just went downhill fast. It tries to recover every few days, but so far is having trouble staying recovered. We had some beautiful days last week, but it was cold again this weekend. The only down side of that is that we went camping this weekend. We were in lodges and did all of our activities at the dining hall, but that 15 minute walk from our lodge to the dining hall was quite frigid with 20s and wind. Terra and I both had a great time though and she almost cried when we couldn't stay longer. It was a Girl Scout "neighborhood" event and we tagged along with Mom's troop when they had a mom and girl have to cancel. It was really a lot of fun.

I'll try to keep up again, but when I'm floundering one of the first things I don't seem to do is make it to the computer. The up side is that I have read several books in the last two weeks, which was nice.

I hope that everyone is doing well. Welcome back, Heidi, I hope that you had a good trip. Vicki and Becky - I hope that you are enjoying your trips. Jennifer and Janet - I hope you guys are ready for yours. Me, I'm just wishing I could figure out a way to sneak in a trip. (Don't think I haven't plugged in all sorts of dates to see if I could make the 7/4 deal work imminently, but to no avail, which is probably good since I probably couldn't do it anyway.)

Okay, well, I've got to go get some things for the library from Rachel and rescue my husband from the playroom as well. I'll catch up with you all soon!

And VDOT says the road conditions are severe... so that means STAY OFF THEM!

They closed several here sine they could not keep them clear. One of the major roads is still closed. They also reduced highway speeds to 45.

Hi!

It took me almost two hours to get to work this morning. Roads were crappy. But not as bad in the lehigh Valley.

I am at the airport killing time. My flight is on time. But I do not leave till 7:20.

You are better than me, I would have told work to forget about me coming in
