DDA Chapter 19

I was with Janet, Chanon and someone else (couldn't see the face) we were in some city on vacation. We went swimming and Janet meet some one, and he was with us the rest of the trip. From there I got on a bus and the driver said that she would take us to get lunch, we had to poke her arm and that would determine who got to eat at the fancy resturant. After that she drove off leaving without Janet, Chanon and the other 2 saying she had to get home. Turns out the driver was running a scam and got fired because I was wearing a wire and taking pictures for her boss. I did meet up with everyone back at the bus station.

I told you it was weird.

So the surgery went alright. Although the surgeon said it was the worst case of diverticulitis he ever saw. They ended up removing 6-8 inches of his colon. He has a fever right now but the doctor said that is normal.

I gotta run but hope to be back on later. Just wanted to let you know how he was.

Glad to hear the surgery went well Becky. for a quick recovery!

Just wanted to let ya all know, we passed Disney's right of first refusal, so we will be DVC owners in about a month.

Glynis your family is adorable. Timothy looks so happy and at home in all those little arms

I just locked in my interest rate on the refi to buy dummy out of the house. I got 4.75%. My mortgage will be about $80 less a month, plus I'm taking out money to buy him out, and also pay off DVC, so it will be all MINE! And I'll be debt free, other than the house. But I will be needing a new car in the very near future.

And Alyssa is going to school tomorrow! But that means I have to go back to work. I kinda like this SAHM thing. But that doesn't pay the bills, or give me Disney money!

Deb, I'm a HUGE advocate of medicating kids.... Must be the nurse in me, but we give our girls Tylenol and/or Motrin around the clock if there's any chance they need it (sick, teething, etc). That being said, I'm unfortunately in agreement with the no Cough Medicine, at least until kids are a bit older. Are they saying any of your boys can have it? It would seem at least one or two would be old enough, in my opinion. I know it sucks though, it's been my biggest struggle this whole time with Elise. The kids cough until they turn colors and can't breathe, and there's nothing that can be done for it Did you try the honey? I certainly would be, if the girls were past the infant botulism thing. I've actually been hearing a lot about its efficacy!

Deb, I'm a HUGE advocate of medicating kids.... Must be the nurse in me, but we give our girls Tylenol and/or Motrin around the clock if there's any chance they need it (sick, teething, etc). We don't have any honey. None of the kids like honey so I don't have any here. I am using Delsym with some small results. I know that they are sick as they slept late, took naps and all went to bed on their own already. I'm not too far behind, I want to see Idol then I'll go to bed. Hopefully I will be 100% in the morning. Mommies don't have time to be sick themselves.
