DDA Chapter 18

Thanks! My driver was so fast that he'd have to stop to keep a safe distance from the truck ahead. I took photos when he had to stop. Gotta love vibration reduction and a fast shutter speed.

I'm sorry guess my mind is in the gutter, but this really has me :lmao:

Sounds like I missed quite a lot while I was gone. All the talk of ice cream really got my mind set on some (even though it doesn't agree with me anymore), and I had to crack open my Ben and Jerry's Peach Cobbler ice cream. Yummy! I only had 5 spoonfuls, so I didn't overdo it, and I still feel good!

Kristine - I'm so sorry I missed your birthday! I hope it was a good one. I'm sorry that Bill got his panties in a twist over the hole in the wall. Hopefully, those caps won't get washed down the drain anymore!

Tammi - Looks like you had a fun time with your kids Valentine's day dinner. It looked really yummy! I wish we had something like that here. I know that Jacob and Katie would love it. They are always wanting to putter around in my kitchen. I, too, boycott Valentine's day. Alan and I don't exchange gifts. We do cards, and a special meal, but that is it! This year, instead of a card, he got me a bag of all green M&M's. Hmmm, what is he trying to tell me?:confused3 ;)

Elin - I'm so sorry that your family bailed on V day! Not cool! Sounds like they are trying to make amends, though. And thanks to you, I had to have ice cream today!

Theresa - I'm so sorry that things are still tense with you. I liked the picture of Cassidy and the boyfriend. He's a cutie! Thanks for the heads up on Space Chimps. The kids have wanted to see it, but I thought it looked kind of dumb!

Bernadette - Great TR!!! I loved the photos, etc. Makes me want to go back, but that's not in the cards for a while.

Tia - Sorry about the house news. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's not as long as you think, and that the house you want is available for you!

Anne Marie - Good luck with house #2! Sorry you got the run around on House #1!

Deb - Congrats on the job front! I know you'll figure out how to work everything. You are Wonder Woman! Besides, you have 3 princes and a King that can pick up slack in the castle while you are putting money in the Disney fund! I'm so sorry about your cat! I know how much you all love him! Hopefully the meds will work and be affordable.

Debbie - Where are the pictures??? I thought for sure we'd have pictures of Princess Aubrey by now!

Jennifer (tink) - the outfits are priceless! No matter how many you pack, you'll find yourself in need of more! Twins are like that! The blowouts always seem to be more numerous on trips. At least they were for us!

Heidi - 2 days! You must be so excited! I can't wait to hear all about your trip! Be safe!

Elizabeth - Sorry about DS! Teenage boys are always goofing around, so I guess stuff like this just happens. I hope his leg is ok. Good luck with weaning yourself off the pin trading. I knew that I could not afford another obsession, so I let pin trading go! I hope you are successful, too!

Robyn - Hooray for a new ticker!!! I'm not jealous at all (maybe if I say it enough, it will be true!) Thanks for the Valentine email. It made my day!

Jen - I'm praying for Manny and his family. Any update?

Jennifer (bear) - sounds like you are going to have a tall girl there! Good luck as she hits the teen age years!

Tom - Welcome home! I loved the pictures of Leighanna! I'm so glad she got some magic moments, but sorry that your experience at POP soured things. I definitely think you should go in August to get a "do over." Besides, I'd love to see what outfits you come up with for an August trip!

Denise - I'm glad that things are pretty calm without John. I hate it when Alan is gone! I have to run the TV 24 hours a day for the noise! I need adult voices around me!

Janet - Garrett looked so handsome! I can't believe how grown up he's gotten in the few years that we've all been together! What a darling young man. His friend was cute too!

I know that I've probably forgotten some people, but it's not intentional! I'm just happy to be back "home"!

So we have that stupid play group tomorrow.
So far the only people who have responded that they are coming are the wild boys who Princess always ignores. One of the moms has invited everyone over to play in her yard. Princess has a brand new swingset. I would rather stay HOME and play in the yard. Maybe invite some GIRLS over to play with us so Princess will get the benefit of socializing.

Thank you Glynis :goodvibes

Elizabeth, I would call, but the supervisor that does the Vacation schedule is out today, and all the others there have no clue!

I might call tomorrow.

I also need to check the school schedule. If we go, we are looking at the dates of Aug. 12 - 19th.

I emailed WDW about the issues we had. I still need to snail mail them a letter, and then follow up with a phone call.

Don't you hate it when the person you need is out of the office? :headache:
Those dates would allow you to attend the DDA dinner on 8/14. How fun would that be? :yay:

When I sent an e-mail praising my CRO CM they called me back a week or 2 later. I was shocked. It's possible the e-mail might be enough, but a snail mail letter couldn't hurt.

Not since last night when they read his last rites (not sure if i posted that yet). we are just waiting and praying that it turns around

More good thoughts for Manny and his family. :grouphug:

If I want to book the 4/3 deal, I have till March 29th to decide :thumbsup2
:rolleyes1

No! I will check it on Thursday when I go into work!

I just did my taxes and we are getting a refund! This might be doable.:thumbsup2

I think that after what we found in our room on our last trip, we need a do over!
Leighanna would love to swim, and most days this last trip is was too chilly even though the pool was warm.
I am just worried that August will be too stinkin' hot!
Tom, I have a trick with an ice cube but it won't really help you. No seriously! It's not that bad. Yes it's stinkin hot but you are running from one AC attraction/ride to another. It's really not that bad honestly. Just be prepared for the heat, go to the pool alot & eat alot of dole whips!:thumbsup2

Ok here's the latest. The agent of house #1 was surprised we did not counter. Um, hello? I am not playing games, we gave them a fair price & did not expect to be played with.:snooty: Anyway now the sellers agent wants us to counter & maybe they can work it out. Jeez, I wish buying a house was like buying a pair of shoes. The price is there, take them to the register & pay for them ..viola! you have a new pair of shoes...Um I mean a new house! :rotfl:

We bought HSM3 today at Target (on sale $15.99 :thumbsup2 ). Just watched it with the kids. Very cute & sad that its the last one.

August is hot, but it isn't so hot that you can't manage it. Just don't hike from the Contemporary to the Crystal Palace at 7:45 AM in 100% humidity. That was BRUTAL, and I was so irritated by the time we got to the restaurant I was homicidal. Of course the restaurant wasn't OPEN yet, despite being after 8 AM, so that made things worse.
I found the transportation from WL to be confusing at best, so that was a problem for me the entire time.

Just a fly by Hi. I gotta leave soon to go to Barnes and Noble to meet with a Relay volunteer. I will be back later.

Great pictures Bernadette. Have fun deciding if you want another lens.

More :wizard: and  to Manny's family.

Robyn- Have fun planning your trip.

Anne Marie- Good Luck with the house hunt!

Tia- Hope the house situation works out, so you can buy soon.

Glynis- Hi hope you and your gang are doing well!

Hi to everyone else. Hope you you are well.

Just talked to DS.
It turns out he was NOT sent to the office. The other kid was sent to the office, then the Asst. Principal got DS and had him call us because it is considered an assault. It doesn't sound like DS truly provoked the kid - he stepped on the paper and was about to lean over to pick it up. He wasn't involved in it prior to that, which is how the Asst. Principal made it sound when he talked to DH. Ugh. Of all days for me to forget to bring my cell phone. :headache:

It doesn't sound like DS is gravely injured, so I don't think we need to press charges.

Here are a couple of photos from our trip that I scanned.
Chef Mickeys and PSP Storybook lunch.

I don't know why the PSB one scanned so weird? It looks great IRL!

That's pretty common place here....counter offers flying back and forth
