We will leave here around 4:30 to go over the his dates house, take pictures & then drop them off to eat around 6pm. The dance is from 8pm - 11pm. A friend of Garretts is stopping by 1st so I can see him & his date all dressed up. He always calls me mom & is the one we took to Disney with us a few years ago.

Pin Buyers and Traders... have you seen this information yet? I got it from Steve's email...

Pin trading

Not really Polynesian news other than that they sell pins but some inside info says that there will be a complete change in how PINs will be bought and sold. At the end of February All Pins (both coasts) will go to a (color = price) pin. This will be done on the backs of the pin. So for example a purple back means that the pin sells for $5.00. They are trying to do this so they will only have 4 or 5 skus to scan instead of 100. Also all pins will go up $2.00 each. So a $6.95 pin will now sell for $8.95. This will happen at the same time as the new backing at the end of the month.

Elin thanks for the heads up, I don't pin trade except for on the exchanges board. I buy my pins for the exchange from people like Darlene not from Disney, any pin I buy at Disney is for my collection.

Pin counterfeiters across the globe are doing a happy dance.
I absolutely do not understand how they (WDW) can keep proper inventory on pins based exclusively on price point. That sounds very strange to me. In fact, there is NO WAY that will work, because mail order is done by SKU. Each pin has to have an individual SKU - there is not a way to streamline the SKUs.

The 3 of us sat down this morning and went through ALL of the pins. We now have just over 200 to trade. I really think our trading days are coming to an end. I will probably continue to buy special pins like AP or DVC, but I think our trading will be tapering down to nothing once we exhaust our current supply of traders.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Valentine's Day.

Em and Mo spent last night at my in-laws last night. Em came home about 10:30 this morning and helped me clean and then she headed off with her bestest friend, Lily and her dad to spend the day with them. Mo spent the day at my in-laws. Eric ran a bunch of errands and while Lucy napped I got to do something I haven't done in forever, read a "real" book. It was heavenly!!! (It may not have been very romantic, but it sure felt good to just have quiet "me" time during a normal day. I only started the book when I was pregnant with Lucy. Lucy and I played for a few hours and ate lunch then she went back down for her 2nd nap and I read some more. Eric and Mo just got home about an hour ago and he fixed dinner. Emma should be home in a bit, with Lily in tow, for a sleepover.

I think once we get the kids settled in for the night Eric and I will catch up on a few episodes of a tv show we're watching.

We have breakfast with my parents, sister, niece, nephew, aunt and uncle in the morning. Should be interesting getting 6 of us out of the house by 7:30am.

Tomorrow evening is my Uncle's viewing and his funeral is Monday morning.
