We loved POP, but bad housekeeping is bad housekeeping no matter where you stay. I have stayed at some rather pricey hotels and had poor housekeeping and stayed at some cheap hotels and the rooms were incredibly clean.
A friend just stayed at Poly a couple months ago and feels the same way about there. Said something happened with housekeeping was so gross and horrible that she wouldn't even tell us. Said she complained to management and got the same thing you did.
Wonder if it was the same housekeeper and management just moved them?

Tom - There could never be too many Leighanna pictures, and they definitely aren't boring.

Jennifer - Love the pictures! I had to make myself stop buying baby clothes, I've been picking them up since we found out we have a girl. I really think she will outgrow some things before she gets a chance to wear them. I did buy different sizes though.

Robyn and Jennifer - The cupcakes look Yummy.

I can't believe I'm still up after getting up at 3:00 am, the numbness is finally subsiding in my face, I had some more dental work done today.

Brandon had to call and tell me about his tooth, he lost his first one today and thinks it's really neat that he can sstick his tongue out of the hole.

She didn't just say it once-at least 10 times over the lunch hour. She's very good friends with my boss's secretary who was present so I could say something to her but I don't think its right to get her in the middle. I think I'll just do the avoidance thing for tomorrow and hopefully she'll move onto something else next week.

It would have upset me too! I think you're doing the right thing so far and hopefully she will move on.

Well i just went out for a bit and ended up losing my ID! I never bring it to the sports bar we went to since I know the bartenders and they dont card me...I got home and for some reason, looked for my ID and it wasnt there..I tore my car and room apart looking. Finally, i texted one of the bartenders and he found it..ugh..i have no idea why i brought it in with me!

Well, I think I'm going to go read or something until Terra's movie is over and then we're headed to bed. She wanted to watch Space Buddies again. I picked it up at RedBox this morning and she really likes it. Maybe a copy is in order for her birthday. I definitely don't know what else to get her so maybe.

Now you have me curious about POFQ!

It wasn't anything gross. We went with Dorinda & Ralph and the 5 of us. I had asked for connecting rooms and we didn't get them. I wasn't demanding them but the CM was looking for them and called over the manager. Joe was going to sleep in Dorinda's room and I really didn't know how he'd be without the connecting door. The manager got on the phone with the room assigner and I hear her say "I saw those but I don't want to give them those. I'll call maintenance about rooms xxxx". So she goes in the back and the original CM comes out and says they found us connecting rooms but they weren't ready. So we go to Epcot and call and get our room numbers. We left Epcot about 8:30pm and get back to POFQ around 9pm and start looking for our rooms. When we found them one door was propped open with the door latch. We push it open and there is NO furniture. The other room has at least 20 matresses in it. We go to the front desk and the really great CM there finds us water view connecting rooms. We had to wait a while for our luggage to be delivered and everyone was super cranky by now.

So the next day I tell the manager about the rooms she assigned us and she laughed at me. Then she kept telling me that it wasn't her fault because maintenance said the rooms were OK. I really didn't get why when they tried to deliver our bags they didn't immediately set us up with new rooms and put our luggage in there. It just could have/should have been handled much better. Then the next year we were at POR and I saw the same manager. I just don't have any warm fuzzy feeling for the PO resorts. BUT....we did have awesome housekeeping at POR. But my coworker had horrible housekeeping at POR. We had some problems with housekeeping at ASMu this summer leaving the doors open. It really can happen anywhere.

I read everything, but it was a miserable night in a lot of ways and I just can't remember what I read.

Bernadette I would have said something like trust fund baby... I trust that you mean I work my butt of to fund my fun lady.

There is no way I would have let her get away with that, not even once.

Emma loves those Buddies movies. I think she still likes Snow Buddies more than Space Buddies.

She can be really loud, rude and frankly unstable. I didn't want to push any of her buttons but I did let her push mine and now I'm upset that I didn't stand up to her.

So I am finally home for the night. I was home for a bit after the funeral and luncheon, but then left to head to a meeting for work.

We had another viewing this morning at the funeral home. It was an hour, but should have been a half an hour. During the viewing the power went out temporarily, I am assuming due to the crazy winds.

Then we had the service. It was nice, but poor Ricky was balling his eyes out. The poor kid, he is 11. I do not blame him though since he lost 3 Grandparents in about 5 weeks.

After the service when they closed the casket my Grandma lost it. The funeral home really did not want anybody in there when they closed the casket but they wanted to be there. She did calm down and was alright the rest of the day. But I think it really hit her then.

Then we all rode over to the cemetery. They tried so hard to put a tent up, but there was no way it was happening due to the wind. We noticed that there was a small bus sitting there. Well we thought we were having only 2 people show up to do the military service with the flag. There was about 12 of them.

They folded the flag, did a 21 gun salute and then a trumpeter played taps. I thought the trumpeter was going to blow away, cause the wind was blowing so bad and we could see him fighting it. Grandpa had been in the Army and on Pearl Harbor when it was attacked.

I need to head to bed. But I wanna get caught up first. Hopefully I will sleep better then the past few nights. But then again the winds are crazy and noisy again.
