I just found out that my Uncle Buck died this morning. He was 97 years old. His wife, my Aunt Elsie is the one who died last year the day after her 95th birthday. His body had been failing rapidly as of late although his mind was still sharp as a tack so I hope he has found some peace.

I booked the 4/3 deal for August. I bought 7 day base tickets (for the price of 4) for my family. So when I get to Disney I can take that to guest relations & upgrade to an AP (with the 7 day tickets value)?

Looks like we will be arriving on the 6th and leaving on the 13th. Early on the 13th. So no conflict with my birthday. One entire week before it.

9 DAYS!!!!!!

Good morning DDA--itw as not a great night here in my firefighter family. There was another big fire and multiple guys were taken to the hospital. One is, as the newspapers quote it, fighting for his life. We do not know anything right now and it is so scary..But ill be headed off to work soon and will hopefully find an update

Prayers for all involved.

DS is still sick. DH is going to hurry so DS won't be home by himself for very long. I sent DS back to bed. I am going to make an appt. for him to go to the pediatrician today since he isn't getting any better on his own.

Hope he gets better soon!

I booked the 4/3 deal for August. I bought 7 day base tickets (for the price of 4) for my family. So when I get to Disney I can take that to guest relations & upgrade to an AP (with the 7 day tickets value)?

You have to use the passes first. So use them to enter a park and then go to guest services to upgrade.

I have done this with tickets that I have purchased from undercover tourist too and they give the full value once it is used.

The kids get free games of bowling for every X100 pins they knock down. I can't remember the exact number of pins, but I'm sure they have a bunch of free games that we need to use up. That is another free activity for us since we have all our own equipment.

We use coupons for bowling, so for under $10 we can go bowling for an afternoon. Other than that we don't go out, except last night when we lost track of time and got to eat at Costco's food court.

I don't have the answer to your question, but did you book at BC and what are your dates now?

8/8-8/22.

Ya know I was thinking of the BC however the 2 rooms puts me over the edge towards the AS Suite. 14 days with my kids 24/7 is LONG so at least when we get in the room they can have their own tv (& potty) & Dana & I get our own room away from them for alittle bit. LOVE BC as you know but 1 room gets clastophobic after a few days.

Now I need to find a car. I have an Entertainment book. I also have the Emerald Aisle or whatever it is called. Haven't looked at it since it came in the mail. I'll have her call tomorrow, get it booked.

This gives me something to spass out about for the next few months, as I am soooooo excited about my Hilton Head trip in the frozen tundra. Whoopie!

I don't think you have to use the ticket first. When we went in '07 we had free dining, so we had the passes on our room keys. We went to Guest Relations at MK and upgraded to APs without using the passes to enter the parks. You might go to the GR window and ask them if you have to enter the park first.

Is Friday 8/14 still the day everybody wants to do the DDA dinner?
