Bernadette,
Great pictures. They make me smile.:goodvibes

Tia,
Sorry about the delay. The whole home buying process is so stressful. I have to agree with you, don't fall in love with one house until the contract is signed. You know with the economy the house you like may very well still be on the market in a few months. I hope it all works out & you are happy with the house you decide to call home.:wizard:

Debbie,
Yay!!! Can't wait to see pictures!

Heidi,
Almost time!!!!:yay:

Well house #1 is not an option anymore which is fine. The sellers will not come down from their price & the home is very overpriced for the area so that's that. I have a feeling that after we move down there that the house will still be for sale.

On to house #2 (which I like the outside much better than #1) more of a wow factor for me. Inside needs some work though.

We are off to grocery shop & then take the kids for lunch. I suggested Coraline but they seem to think its scary so maybe not.

Have a great day!

I am anxious to see her in action on Wednesday night, hoping it gives her a boost in confidence. This a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class, not that I know what that really means yet. I can Mo loving this, but she has to wait until she is 5.

that is what our friend takes (it's also the one he has broken his collar bone in....not the classes fault totally his) and loves it.

Bernadette - I am really enjoying your TR and pictures. I especially liked the photos from Tom Sawyer's Island. We have not been there in decades! And, by the way, the fireworks shots were gorgeous. :)

Tia - it sounds like you had a great Valentines Day! I am sorry to hear that the housing timetable has been tweaked. Hopefully the money and the perfect house will arrive at exactly the right moment... together!

What Elin said!!:thumbsup2

house #1 owners obviously don't HAVE to move so I bet you are right it will still be there in the morning.(ETA: obvviously my head is somewhere else.....will still be on market when you move!!)

Enjoy your day out!!

Good Morning DDA!!!

It's been an interesting few days around here sleep wise and I can't find any jobs to apply for so that affects my mood.....I am a mess. I actually had a little breakdown on Friday night with Cassidy...I couldn't stop laughing but I knew, knew I wasn't really a) that funny and b) laughing.

I am hoping that this little bit of time this afternoon with people who have no real clue about my life and just being out of the house will help my attitude.

Or perhaps the owners are upside down in their loan and NEED to get that much out of it. That is a lot of what's happening out there, when the house prices ballooned out of control, people took out no interest mortgages to pay the ballooned price, and now their interest is coming due and they can't resell/refi. So sad. :sad2:

We've gotten a lot done this morning. I brought the boys to play practice, hit Dunkin donuts for Colby, went to the post office and bank, dropped Colby off to Chris, went to the police station and got finger printed, went to the aquatics center to finish all the new hire paperwork, delivered some stuff to AJ's that I typed for them, picked up Colby and came home. Colby and I have eaten lunch and the cat carrier is out. I need to load Riley up then we're off to pick up the boys before bringing the cat to the vet.

I have an appointment for my drug testing on Thursday. I'm all set to start on Monday and don't need an orientation beforehand. It feels good to get so much accomplished. Hopefully I can get some housework done later this afternoon.

Tia, I can't imagine how much having to delay your house buying stinks, but it will be all worth it in the end.

AnnMarie I wish you luck on house #2. Even if you have to do some work, look at it as making it feel more yours as you can incoorperate your touches into the work.

Welcome back Terry.

I knew I was forgetting something. Welcome home Terry, glad you had a nice time.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments on the pictures. I think I got better with the camera as the days went on but I think one of my favorites is the one of Spaceship Earth from day #2. I can't wait til May. I'm sure I'll take over 3,000.

I got an email from SanDisc saying again that physical damage nullifies the warranty but that I could send them photos of the card for them to look at. I haven't heard back yet.

That night, we dropped Terra off at the Kid's Night Out at church and Phil spent our first evening alone together in 2+ years. We didn't do anything fancy - just dinner at Boston Market, hanging out and talking, a quick trip to Office Max to pick up the Photoshop program I wanted before it went off of sale, and a walk through Target looking for birthday present ideas for Terra. It wasn't much, but it was still nice. Terra had a great time too so hopefully Phil will quit worrying so much and we'll be able to do it again sooner than 2+ years.
Sounds nice! Sorry about the house delay-must be disappointing.

Bernadette! Your pictures are amazing!

I don't even want to show my blurry pictures now!:sad2:

But I probably will still!
Thanks but please....if I can post photos of my sewing after you then you can post photos. Besides even bad photos of Leighanna have to be cute!!!!

Janet I am really excited now, it will be just the 2 of us, something that hasn't hapened since our very 1st trip. :hyper:
How fun!!!!

This was our last full day and I was determined to make the most of it. We still had a lot of food left from the grocery delivery so I packed the PBJ's, granola bars, fruit candy and Lorna Doones into a popcorn bucket so we could eat that stuff for lunch.

We had breakfast in the room and headed for the bus stop. Thankfully this time a bus came right away. On the bus I realized that I hadn't consulted my Color Coded Matrix of Fun and it was an early entry day. It was already past 8am.:scared1:

We got to AK before 8:30 and after a quick zip through security we headed to the RFC entrance. Lizzy said she wasn't up for EE so we headed for Safari. It was cold dreary morning.

The crested cranes (or whatever they are called) that you see along the Safari queue were enjoying the heat lamps.

I was hoping the weather would yield a good safari ride and it did. We saw so many animals. The driver drove a bit too jerky for my liking but he was very knowledgable and pointed out lots of animals I may have not noticed. We were in about the 2nd row. I think it can be hard to take photos too close to the front or back but I got some that I really like.

I hope it helps too, Theresa.

Great pictures (as usual) in your update, Bernadette!

We did the gorilla walk after safari:

Then we took the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch. We touched a snake, did the rain forest experience thing, saw Jiminy and Pochahontas (Rafiki was there with huge lines and we had already seen him at MK) and went to the petting zoo.
