Yesterday was an absolutely HORRIBLE day, the Axe fell at work and three co workers were terminated, one of which had 15 years with the company.

Now that the cuts have been made there will be a district recalibration meeting Thursday to reorganize, we'll see what happens.

Actually I am still coughing a lot and my ribs feel bruised. It really hurts. I slept on the recliner last night and the cats woke me up.

I took a pain pill and some aleve. So I will probably nap all day.

No, they belong to his neighbor but they come and see him everyday, if he had his way he would keep all six of them. My DH and DD both want to keep the little brown one, but I really don't want to make that kind of commitment again.

You people with the snow in March boggle my mind.

But our temps are only mid-30's right now, so I guess I can see how snow might happen!

Elin, I hope you and Tammi have a wonderful day at the wine tasting!

One year we had a snow storm in May Closed school and the snow had melted by about 11am!!!

it was last night and the kids did a FABULOUS job with it....it was so much better than Bye, Bye Birdie last year.

I learned more about Cassidy's boyfriend....he is a good kid who has had a rough beginning...he and his siblings are either in the foster system (in different homes) or have aged out. He obviously likes Cassidy a lot (of course he likes me....he's a teen boy and I feed him )

You all are right it could have been worse with Jim and his dad this morning but it is so not the way to start my day.

My AC is running now, my azaleas are blooming outside, but that doesn't mean we won't get some more cold weather.

Dana and I took the girls to the Jonas Brothers Concert movie last night. We had a blast! Dana and I decided that Mo and her youngest, Kate, will later in life be the girls with tons of beads from Mardi Gras. Molly was singing and dancing like a fool. Em and Syd, while they said they had a good time, acted as if they were going to be writing a dissertation on the movie. So serious.

At the very end of the movie, Joe points out into the audience and mentions the girl in the red shirt. Well, Emma had a red shirt on last night and was on that Joe picked HER out. I love that at 9 the magic is not gone from her yet.

My in-laws picked up Em and Mo. They are taking them to b'fast and then shopping. We will meet them later at Cheeseburger in Paradise for lunch to celebrate my FIL and Eric's birthday.

Eric and I need to head out to the bank and run a few errands. We need to get a gift for FIL and pick up alcohol for tonight. We are having a couple (I do GS with the wife and Eric does BS with the husband) over to hang out and play cards. Looking forward to blowing off some steam. The girls are spending the night somewhere, either my in laws or my parents. The girls haven't decided!!

March is going to come in here like a lion, it seems.... we are supposed to get our first winter storm of the season. They are calling for measurable snowfall. We will see...

It's snowing here today, too I was surprised for a minute, but honestly we almost always have one big snow/winter storm in March. It sucks. We need to move somewhere warmer!

Yikes! I am glad you still have your job! I hope the part that comes next won't be too bad!

My AC is running now, my azaleas are blooming outside, but that doesn't mean we won't get some more cold weather.

We had the A/C on, but now it is only 36 degrees so I flipped it back to heat. The tree out our dining room window is blooming, so I guess the stinky trees won't be far behind! They actually didn't stink last year - maybe we'll get lucky again!
