Good morning, DDA!

You people with the snow in March boggle my mind.

But our temps are only mid-30's right now, so I guess I can see how snow might happen!

Elin, I hope you and Tammi have a wonderful day at the wine tasting!

Could be worse.... he could have said OK! I hope the weekend is not a total washout, Theresa.

He would have gone by himself and I would be the evil one once again.

March is going to come in here like a lion, it seems.... we are supposed to get our first winter storm of the season. They are calling for measurable snowfall. We will see...

and we have snow forecast for any time in the immediate future and March is our snowiest month. I see watering restrictions in our future.

I am seething right now....it is 7:30 flip flopping in the morning and my father in law calls and says "We'll be in Denver for a 2 hour layover at noon TODAY"

They are coming back from a trip to Disneyworld. A trip that I know they paid for Jim's siblings and their kids to go on. A trip they promised my kids they would take them on.


and Jim, instead of telling them "Gosh, you are calling a 7:30 the morning of to tell us to drive an hour away for the possibility of "sighting" you, we can't do that not enough notice" he said "We can't, Cassidy has a performance"


so goes my hope for a decent weekend.

Yes it was rude and inconsiderate, but be happy that Jim didn't say "sure! See you in a little while!"

the Omni is lovely.... and the Marriott is right next door!

Unfortunately the sleet won't arrive until after we get home tonight and the snow and stuff are coming tomorrow night, I think. Or, so they say...
