DDA Chapter 17

Glad she's feeling better! What is she playing? Stephanie & I have been playing Mario Kart lately, but now the one remote has stopped working all together. It won't even turn on.

She likes playing Petz Cats 2, and Wii sports. She's especially good at bowling.

Stephanie likes Sports too and Wii Play. Oh, and Outdoor Challenge. She has a Petz Horses one but doesn't like it as well because it has reading on it and she's not that good of reader yet

Elizabeth, in your tag, it says DIS Cast Member. What do you get to do?

Nothing. :rotfl2: It has to do with how many posts I have. I think a lot of those get erased when the Tag Fairy changes your tags. For whatever reason, mine is still there.

DS just got home from school. He is very upset that he got a 79 on his semester exam for history. He got a 90 in Science and a 96 in Reading. But apparently there is going to be a big party for the kids who got at least an 80 on all of their tests, so now he is being excluded. I know he is disappointed, but really, he did pretty well. He passed the semester, and that is the most important thing.

Today was the first day a 2nd semester, and they moved him (and a bunch of his friends) out of PE. I was under the impression that PE was all year. Nope. Counselor called me back and said it is one semester PE, one semester Computer for 7th graders. Huh. OK, whatever. DH thinks it is HILARIOUS that we went through all that trouble to replace his stolen shorts and now he doesn't even have PE anymore. Yah. Funny.

Time to go to play group.

Theresa, I would go with white if you can't find purple or he doesn't want to wear purple. If it's homecoming/prom season though (wait... it's not... winter homecoming?) then you shouldn't have trouble getting them to die the rose or the tips, usually for no charge.

Thanks for the good wishes on my health. I think the DDA PD is working well. :goodvibes

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better!

Wow, talk about busy. I cannot wait until we get to see some pics from your trip, even if it takes a year. :rotfl: ;) :flower3:

Do not give her an "out"! :sad2: ;)

:rotfl2: about the tag! Too bad he can't go to the party too. :guilty:

Oh yes, for my proms, I always got the tips dyed. I thought they were so pretty that way. :flower3:

Congrats to DS!! on great grades.

We got grades today.....with Cassidy's grades I am surprised she still has a 3.0 GPA. Abi got straight A's (except a B+ in honors math). Cassidy is already doing better in Math than last semester. :upsidedow

Theresa, how about one of Elin's tye dyed roses? ;)

I saw a whole bunch of those when I went in to order. :rotfl:But then I didn't order them but Cassidy just told me she would have loved it. :upsidedow I ordered just plain white with a purple ribbon. I got the cheaper one. The flower choices in that group are nice but not over the top because it is just the winter formal/semi-formal. If Cassidy and this boy make it to prom...then we'll go for the pricier one.

There's progress! It seems Craig was on the Disney site pricing out trips! :cool1: :cheer2: We'd love to do the 4days/3free or whatever it is, but we can't book right now, so I think we'll miss it. Hopefully though, something else will come up. :hyper:

Glynis-We got Flat Stanley also....I guess he will be going to the Avalanche game with us as we have nothing else exciting coming up.
