DDA Chapter 17

I tried my best to skim all the pages I missed while we were gone. :)

Lots of :wizard: for a healthy DDA!

I'm very impressed with the DDA collective weight loss! :thumbsup2 I didn't gain any weight at WDW, but now that I'm home, it's time to knock off 10-15 more pounds!

Tom and Bernadette, your creations are amazing!

Marci, please keep writing your trip report! Great pictures! I was giggling with your skorts disclaimer, because I have the same problem posing in pictures...I'm not flashing you! Mouse Gears is my absolute favorite place to shop, too!

Tia, your pictures are super, too! And you look awesome!

Lindsay, I was so happy to see your posts. Best of luck with your job search!

Kelli! Hi! :wave2: Welcome back to the DDA!

Kristine, I hope your cyst removal is quick and as painless as possible!

Yay! for all the trip planning, WDW and other locations!

Tammi, I can't even fathom how overwhelming yesterday was...a big collective thank you for all your efforts to keep millions of people safe!

Anne-Marie, I hope you hear good news on selling your house very soon!

Theresa, I was trying my best to keep up, but I'm unsure if you accepted the part-time job. Could you update me, please?

I know I'm missing a lot (though my eyes were glazing over with all the football talk ;) ), so please accept a big :grouphug: for you all.

Becky I am sure you know but if you book by the 24th you can get in on the 4/3 deal & get the $200 gift card! I think there is a room only code out as well. Also Alamo has a special right now for $10 a day rentals which has to include a Saturday.

Hope you can get something figured out pixiedust:

Unfortunately for Alamo, you must pick up on Thursday as the earliest you must return the car by Monday. As I would be staying until at least Tuesday I do not qualify.

I am probably stopping at the airport tomorrow or Friday to buy tickets as you then save the online booking fee. Since I do not work that far from the airport it is not a huge deal to stop.

I am exhausted. I only got home between 10 and 11pm. I left before 6 am for a chamber event. I left work around 1pm. I came home and went to bed and got up around 5:30pm.

Deb,
I don't know how you get out there & go snowboarding when it's so cold. I must be a wimp because I can barely handle the run from my house to the car!:rotfl2:

Layers baby...lots of layers. Just imagine the pillsbury dough boy or the michelin man. That's me :hyper: Of course it doesn't hurt that Chris had a hot bowl of soup waiting for me when I got home and Hunter immediately drew me a hot bath  They worry about me breaking out in hives.

Just popping in to let you all know we are home. The drive took about 17 hours, and we pulled in the driveway about 2 a.m. Tuesday morning. Kevin did go to work, but the kids and I stayed home all day. Everyone is coughing with yucky runny noses...the return to Ohio winter reality! This morning, Alyssa went back to school and the boys and I took a quick trip to Kroger.

I will try my best to get caught up on the 100+ pages now that my laptop is hooked up again. Kevin is determined to write a trip report, but we also need to FINALLY get Matty's big boy room finished! He proved in Disney that it's going to be a challenge keeping him in bed. It's also time to put some effort into potty training Matty and starting Noah on solids.

I miss WDW already, but at least we won't have to wait as long for our next trip, since we have APs. I think we're going back the week before Thanksgiving.

Back to laundry and unpacking. :laundy:

Hope you are all well! :grouphug:
It must have been a great trip if you are already planning to go back.

Thanks for all the "welcome home" messages. :)

Here's a link to our Photopass pictures. WARNING: there are 577 pictures, and we haven't added a single border yet. We took another 1600 pictures with our cameras, too. Can you say picture-crazy?!! :teeth:

Which location did you pick for Noah's trip picture?

Anyone excited for Lost? :teeth:

Chris is. He's been counting down the minutes. Of course it is a 3 hour episode tonight :scratchin That means we are DVRing American Idol so I'll have to watch that tomorrow. shhh don't say it too loud, but I think I have an entire day off tomorrow with no appointments or activities.

Thanks for reminding me, Deb! We chose Dumbo for Noah's picture. :)

Thanks everyone, again, for all your suggestions!

Congrats on your DS's 30th. Will you cook or go out to celebrate?

:rotfl: The cat snores? I've heard dogs snore, but never cats.

Have a good day everyone. :)

We are going over to my oldest son's home and everyone is bringing something.

Sometimes our cats snore. Depends on the time of year. It gets a little loud sometimes!!! :lmao:

Well, shoot. I "shared" with one of my other email addresses and then copied that link. It opens for me, but probably, just me.

Does anyone know what I should try instead?

I got Tia's photopass pics.

Terry-thanks for the effort on cheering me up. Has your package showed up yet? Because it was a USPS fault (put the wrong zip code in barcode) they mailed it free so I knew it would take a while but I am now getting worried again.

Glynis-I like the Ohana quote but there is one in Brother Bear I love too...guess I will have to watch it again so I can write it down.

Marci-that is stinky about the water pressure. I hope you feel better soon, too. I did laugh because I told Cassidy last night that I was glad she had a boyfriend again as she is taking a shower daily. She is at a point where she needs to take one daily (Abi too) but often doesn't.

I am on boutanneire (sp?) ordering duty today....what color rose should I try and get to match a royal purple dress? I was thinking white or yellow but Casisdy would be thrilled if I could find a purple one. The boy hasn't ordered the corsage yet but will today or tomorrow I am sure.

I forgot to say last night that the package arrived yesterday. Thank you to Abi for my Tink ornament. I really like it. Plus the other two as well. :goodvibes

okay I am overwhelmed trying to figure out the Disneyland stuff. Tia or Glynis want to give me some ideas. Not sure if we will go but it would be nice. I am thinking between Dec. 1st and the 17th as that is when the 30% off is valid. Which Hotel and how many days?

There's progress! It seems Craig was on the Disney site pricing out trips! :cool1: :cheer2: We'd love to do the 4days/3free or whatever it is, but we can't book right now, so I think we'll miss it. Hopefully though, something else will come up. :hyper:

Yay for progress! :cool1:

We got DH's W2 today. I need to ask my bosses when they will have mine ready. It would be good to get our taxes out of the way, and then we can use the 2008 taxes for the mortgage application instead of '06 & '07. On the rare chance that we see a house we want to buy.

I spoke with Lindsay's realtor this afternoon. My e-mails went to his spam folder so he didn't know I had tried to contact him. Anyway, the house that we wanted to see really is off the market. The one house that was so cheap was actually completely gutted so it had NO interior. :rotfl2: I would like a house with walls. We talked about the one that has been sitting empty for 2 years and he didn't think that was probably a good thing, either. So back to watching and working on the mortgage pre-approval.

Thanks for all the "welcome home" messages. :)

Oh my gosh, that has to be a photopass record for the length of your trip! I can see taking that many (at least) with your own digital camera, but did they just snap away like crazy?! Or were you always stopping?!

As far as the link goes, I get to yours (but then I never did get to click on Tia's). However, it won't load... I only know it's yours because it says 1 of 5xx
