DDA Chapter 17

So how did the interview go Theresa?

You all seem to get the chattiest when I am not near the computer.;)

The "interview" went well. I am to call him back tomorrow to discuss pay and whether I want the job. The one sticking point-I won't start until they have a potty on the premises:rotfl: I just need to decide if I want the job....so I will be doing some pro/con sheets tonight. :thumbsup2

 yor a good interview.

Well since we don't live in that perfect Community that Elin has yet to find us. I can't get Chris to work on my van. Luckily my brother knows how to work on cars and can change my breaks on my van for me. I am at my moms waiting for him to finish them.

Anne Marie - I see you've booked another cruise. :thumbsup2
Yep, 4 day Wonder during Easter break. 7 days was way too expensive for us. Hopefully we will make it to Palo this time.

Theresa,
Glad the interview went well.

Janet,
Yay for your ticker! Sounds like fun!

Good luck with your decision & yes a potty is necessary!

Howdy....

Deb....hang in there! I know how stressful these things can be

Good luck on your interview Theresa!

AFM....I have a sore/lump that has been bothering me ...I finally went to the doctor. I knew it wasn't good when the doctor lets out a yell "Oh my God, that's huge" :sad2: Apparently it's a cyst with a major infection....I have to take meds for 10 days. That was the good news. She then informed me that these things don't typically go away, but have to be surgically removed....are you freaking kidding me!! But....after last nights SEVERE pain, I decided that surgery couldn't possibly be worse.

:scared: I hope the infection clears quickly so that you can have it removed :scared1:

because nothing is ever easy....under my right b00b :scared1:

:scared: :scared: Double owie

I'm glad that it went well. It must feel wonderful to have an option :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Well the curtain is not long enough for the bathroom window, but looks perfect on the front door. It is so pretty we had to make it work somewhere lol

Garrett is a little bummed that he only made $10 with one driveway. He said they knocked on so many doors, but everyone just said no. I told him a lot of people just don't have the extra money now & at least he has $10 more than he did before.

School has already been canceled for tomorrow, so now they do not go back till Tuesday.

I am scared our water will freeze again, so I am going to let all the faucets run a little tonight to hopefully keep the water flowing.

The doctor called me at 3:15 with the lab results. Everything is completely normal. She is very pleased with the results and feels like we were able to eliminate a bunch of things. She will call back on Friday to check on him. Hopefully the cardio results will be in before then. We will still follow up with his regular ped on Wednesday. She feels that it is most likely that he just reacts more to the slightest movements due to his low weight. She isn't suggesting gaining weight as he is on the same growth curve that he has always been on. She wants him to make his sitting/standing transitions more slowly as well as things like tying his shoes. He isn't restricted from any activities though she wants him to be supervised at all times. We went to the mountain tonight. It was freezing, actually well below freezing. I think it was zero at the base. We were dressed in many layers and I know that I was still cold. Hunter didn't have any dizziness while he was snowboarding :cool1: :cool1: The kids all had fun and are looking forward to next week. I'm so hoping that next week is warmer. I had planned to shadow Hunter, but when I went to buckle my ski boot that strap snapped off. That means no skiing for me until I get a new pair of boots. I was able to remain hive free by hitting a hot bath tub as soon as we got home.

It has been an emotional roller coaster of a day, but I think we are relatively calm now. I have given Hunter a little notebook and I've asked him to log in what and when he eats as well as any dizzy episodes. Maybe we'll see a pattern, maybe not. Maybe it will just disappear :wizard:

yeah for the normal labs

I need to make this a quick post as I need to get Colby out the door to pick up brothers for snowboarding.

Hunter's appointment did not go as well as I had hoped. He has a definite heart murmer which they have never heard before. They did an EKG and it looked okay from the peds prespective, but a cardiologist will look at it. They also ran the various blood pressure tests at my insistance ;) They had him lay down for 10 minutes, took a pressure, had him sit for 2, took a pressure, had him stand for 2, took another pressure. The blood pressures weren't alarming, on the low side, but he always has been. What was remarkable was his pulse. His pulse laying down was 81, sitting up was 102 and standing was 117. There should not be a difference like that as he wasn't moving and did nothing to elevate his pulse. Now they need to figure out why it is doing that. That resulted in a trip to blood draw. Hunter freaked out. He screamed and cried. It was horrible. Heck he cried most of the way back to school and says that he will run away before he lets them do that again. colby was with us and said that he has never heard Hunter scream like that :scared1: The doctor is supposed to call me this afternoon with the results of the blood work. They are doing a CBC, checking for iron levels, sugar levels and other things. He has a follow up appointment with his actual ped next Wednesday. He was told he could do snowboarding tonight, but if he feels at all lightheaded he needs to sit immediately. Either Chris or I need to shadow him to be on the safe side.

So in short I am much more worried now than I was before his appointment.
Wow Deb. Sending major hugs. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Well I am off to take a nice hot shower, then we are going to watch a movie.

Chat with you all later.
