Jennifer, Chuck found www.oovoo.com which says it allows 3 to video conference at once for free. He says that if you get a subscription, you can have up to 6. We haven't tried it yet but wanted to let you know he had found one. He hasn't found any others yet.

I'm having a very lazy morning so far. It is cold, snowing and windy. I am starting the year off right and tracking all that I eat and tracking my exercise. I'm playing around with a blog. Not sure if I'm sold on it yet but I'm playing around with one while I'm thinking about it. I'm not very creative.

I had a ham sandwich for lunch...does that count as my pork for the day? We started our diets. The weird thing is that I am eating the same foods at the same time (breakfast & lunch anyway), but I'm starving just because I know that I'm on a diet.

I definitely hear you on that!

Elizabeth, is you postman moonlighting in PA? Last night John ordered the new Disney planning DVD for the 3rd time! as the first 2 never came.

He swears that the workers are stealing them.

Happy 2009 everyone!

We had a good time last night, but didn't get in until around 4:30 this morning.
I watched the fireworks at MK via that live web cam (they were spectacular) and then the ball drop.

We stayed up late playing games. We had fun and Leighanna was the only younger child there, but she joined in on the adult games and did really well. She is one smart cookie!

I can't believe that we are going to WDW this year! Or should I say next MONTH!

I have so much to do and so little time.

Have a great day! I have to work tonight, so I guess it was good that I got to sleep in today!

The two Zunes in our house have been revived! I'm sure that Gary will be as successful with his.

Let me ask you guys a stupid question about the Wii..
I know you can get the Wii or the Wii bundle---im looking online but i have no idea what is in the Wii bundle--and is it worth it?

Joe and I are going to buy one, but they leave for the cruise tomorrwo so I want to make sure I get the right one, in case i find one while he is away--so i have to check with him today

I think in every case the Wii comes with Wii sports, a controller and nunchuk and is around $250. Although it was 2 years ago since I got the Wii, so this might not be 100% accurate.

No bundle is the same, lots of different companies have created their own bundle with different games, controllers and other configurations at varying prices. Bundles can be a decent deal if it is not filled with things you would buy otherwise. As they might have games you might not be willing to buy if you were buying separately.

I recommend that you get at least one additional wii style controller. Some games like Wii play come with an additional remote. You can also use the wireless game cube controllers with it as well.

IMO things like the Wii wheel, tennis racket and other shaped implements to put the controller in are not worth the money. I am not including things like Rock Band guitars and Wii Fit boards in the above statement.

Good luck with your journey into the world of the WII.

I made my mother's Crown Ring Rolls for breakfast this morning, but Kristin is still asleep. The pork and sauerkraut are in the oven for dinner and the kitchen is cleaned up again. I am watching the Roswe Bowl parade and looking around me...

There are six suitcases sitting in my living room that are full of clothes and WDW "stuff" and Christmas decorations. I have absolutely no desire to work on those right now. And I plugged my Christmas trees in this morning and intend to keep them up a few more days. I feel like I hardly had a chance ot enjoy them.

I am still very tired and have no desire to do much at all except veg out today. Kristin has to go to work tomorrow so maybe that will be my day for laundry. Unless I can persuade her to do some today! ;)
You know what Elin?? I think you should get a nice glass of wine, prop your feet up and enjoy your trees. I just unpakced my suitcases from my WDW the day before yesterday. :goodvibes :goodvibes No one deserves a pj day more than you.:goodvibes

Believe it or not, they did. She called around 10PM last night and they were leaving because everyone had sore feet. How would they ever last a week? And if you've made it that long, it's only 2 more hours until the fireworks! Anyway, she rode Buzz, TTA, Indy Speedway, Jungle Cruise. No SM, HM, BTMRR, SpM, iasw. She may have done more but that's all he got out of her.

That's actually impressive that they got that much done!

That is quite a week there! Buckets of pixie dust that the girls have their most mellow day ever and give you a chance to recoup some. Sounds like you had a great night, though!

Eh, instead I went and tried on bridesmaids dresses for my SIL. Nothing like no notice, and now we're in a HUGE debacle. She was trying to help out her friends by ordering a dress on clearance, assuming they sizes were in stock. Sounds nice, but 3 of the 6 sizes aren't in stock. So right now, she has in her online cart (the last I talked to her) 3 size 26 dresses for girls who need a 6, 8 and 12. No joke. She just thinks we'll be able to take them right in, no trouble. I don't sew, but the material, style etc aren't something that can just get thrown on gma's sewing machine...... :sad2:

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: for Disney World!!!

I know!! I'm FINALLY excited! :yay: :yay: :yay:

I was going to answer just about what Becky did. A "Bundle" is just when it's sold with games, accessories, etc. Just as a heads up though, it's usually little to no savings... stores just get away with selling more because people are wiling to buy a bundle if that's the only way they can get a Wii. ;)

Wonderful, thank you! We'll have to try it out!

I have gotten two in the mail, and I never ordered any! :rotfl:

I'm so bummed that I forgot about the webcam. Hooray for your trip coming so soon! :cool1:

Heidi - My mailman doesn't steal planning DVDs. He prefers to lose things like credit card statements. DH found one of our bills sitting on the ledge above the mailboxes the other day. It obviously ended up in someone else's box.

Jennier - That won't be good with the dresses. :scared: My maid of honor was teeny petite and had to have a size 12 dress cut down to like a 2 because it had been discontinued. The woman did an AMAZING job on the dress but the alterations cost a fortune.:scared: The last time I had a formal dress hemmed it was $35. Hemmed. It was a straight column skirt - plain as it could be. It literally just needed to be folded up about 2 inches and sewn.

Jennifer, as Elizabeth said the alterations will cost a fortune. I bet the alterations will cost more than the dresses themselves. She would do much better buying in stock dresses on sale later or finding a different discontinued dress with all sizes in stock.

Oh, you don't have to tell me! I told her exactly that -- if you "save us money" by buying a $60 dress, but I spend $200 on altering it (once I hunt someone down that can do it, meet with them for fittings, etc), I'm not going to be happy. Find a $150 dress that I can have my mom hem, and I'll be much happier all around.

She didn't want to hear me. I just hope all of her friends tell her the same thing...... :sad2:

I also warned Kyle that we WILL NOT be reimbursing her if she buys me a dress that is LITERALLY 10 sizes too big. Ridiculous.

Thanks so much, Terry! They are just perfect for me!!

(sorry it took me so long to get around to opening them)

Jennifer... take it from someone who knows for certain: The alterations cannot be made unless you have a spectacular seamstress. The dress will have to be cut apart and recut and remade. That is why I don't have any of my favorite clothes from before.

OK, while I am sharing photos (no WDW shots yet... sorry!) I had to go out on a limb and show you the arrangement that was sent from the florist for Bob's company. We were speechless, although I figure they must have been low on flowers because of Christmas...

wowie....how very "interesting" can't say I have seen anything like that before

Jennifer - If she is young she absolutely will not listen to any of you. ;)

Elin - Those are some very rainbow-y flowers.

I just taught myself how to turn on the Wii Fit. I got 38 minutes in before DS and DH came back from the lake.
