O I know, we sat at the very top and watched people get soaked and some were surprised. John is like well you idiot the sign does say splash zone!

But we got majorly splashed and we were out of the splash zone...supposedly

I returned from my 12 days at Disney not one iota into the Christmas spirit. I have had 3 horrid days at work. I have a huge stack of mail that I haven't even opened. My suitcases are sitting in the hall still unpacked.

BUT I'M IN THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT NOW!!!!!

I stood in line for 45 minutes to send off my ornament exchange. And saw smiling faces waiting to mail their packages and mail their cards. And I was filled with Christmas spirit. Santa is going to come afterall!!! I came home and ordered my Christmas cards.

I'm off to Wal Mart and if I can't find my gift for my grandsons there, off to the mall! The mall is a madhouse. My DD is there. The line to see Santa is 3 hours long.

Christmas is coming afterall!!! I've got to get butter to make cookies tonight. Gotta get a log for the fireplace. Hot cocco!! Chritstmas will soon be here!!!!!

What kind of toiletries are in the moderate resorts these days????

They have H2O products. LOVE the lotion! We convenently had a maid cart outside our door one day and stocked up.

GUESS WHAT?! My cousin is pregnant! She is the one that lost the baby last year. She is due the 7th of July, and my friend (the one I mentioned a last week) is due the 30th of July. We are so happy for her. Her husband is worried to death already, but the are both prepared with the right medication now. Please keep all three of them in your prayers.

I am still no where near where I should be as far as being ready for tomorrow morning. I have 20+ people (thankfully they are all family so I really shouldn't be so frantic) showing up here at 8:30am for breakfast. I have wasted a ton of time (watched Eric hang Christmas lights, chatted with Gail a bit & took a nap) but also managed get a lot done. But it's inevitable that the more I clean the more mess I make!!

It all stems from the fact that my dad does not want it at their house and I don't feel like going to Joe's mom's house. Eric hates going there as he always get stuck working on her DH's computer. So they are coming here. Monday morning, I fear I will be dragging.

Thanks, the girls are very excited about Hanukkah. I think it has something to do with the fact that the Hanukkah presents are under the Christmas tree.

I really need to get moving. Blech.

The family I sat for last night had all the kids' little Hanukkah art projects from school. So cute! I like Hanukkah.

Princess gave me an ornament tonight that she chose all by herself. It is a Lenox Mickey & Minnie. It says "Our First Christmas", but Momboss said Princess INSISTED on THAT ornament. So I will display it proudly (away from Arabella) and know that it was chosen with much love. I don't have my other Lenox ones on the tree since we weren't sure about the cats. We never did find that loop of fishing line. Luckily the tree is still standing!

I'm hoping that I can use this perimenopausal crap as motivation to pull myself together. I need to regain control of my weight, find some sort of exercise that I can enjoy (or at least stick with) and figure out what I want to be when I finally grow up.

For now I get to get ready to be a cocktail waitress

I need to get back on track again as well. I am disgusted with myself on how heavy I am again. We can do this Deb.

Well, we are checked in and boarding passes are printed. There is a flight that leaves at 1:51 instead of 3:05. We will try to fly standby on that one.

I am off to finish my packing and to push Bob some more... Talk to you all later tonight.

Kirsten and I were shopping at Target tonight....there was a fairly young man (I'd say 25) holding his 2 year old kid....the kid was screaming bloody murder and was actually hitting his father in the face......Kirsten and I just looked at each other and went on our merry way.

As were were leaving the store...I saw something out of the corner of my eye....a young child running into the street....an older lady started screaming as a car headed for this kid. If I wouldn't of ran into the street and grabbed this kid by the coat and yanked him back..... I have no doubt this kid would be dead!

After I delivered him back into the store, I realized it was the same screaming kid....the father seemed totally unfazed. Me on the other hand was in a cold sweat!
