DDA Chapter 16

I was suppose to work tomorrow, but my manager asked if I would like to have the day off. She does get paid sick days, but wanted to offer so I could be home for Garrett's birthday So now I plan on making breakfast for Garrett's Birthday. We will have french toast, eggs, & bacon(sausage for me). I bought all the fixings for tacos & I will pick his cake up tomorrow from my friend.

I did forget to buy more syrup, so I might have to go back out. I have plenty of my sugar free syrup to though

I bought 5 lbs of hamburger for the tacos & Garrett asked me if I was sure that would be enough

He has decided now that he does not want to go bowling, he wants to go see a movie instead. We will if he changes his mind again.

I read both KK1 and KK2 on vacation and enjoyed them. But there has to be a KK3 because the second book also leaves you hanging.

I wish your housing situation were finished, Anne Marie.

My guess is that they are going to write 4. One for each park. That would make sense, right?

So there is a thread on the Community Board asking for the "25 things about you" ....I don't want to do it on the CB but I thought it might be fun here...espescially if we can think of something another DDA'er doesn't already know about us

1. I am the older sister by 3 years, 3 months, 6 days.
2. I am supposedly related to the Unsinkable Molly Brown
3. I say supposedly because my father is a pathological liar
4. I have travelled all through Europe but have never been to Canada or Mexico.
5. I have tried playing the piano and the viola and I stunk at both.
6. I love watching Disney Channel pre-teen shows (except Suite Life...that one irritates me)
7. I love reading except poetry....that stuff bores me to tears.
8. I am a word game addict.
9. I have only been to Disney World twice and Disneyland once in my entire life.
10. I don't have a driver's license...because the last time I was behind the wheel with my permit I was forced off the road in the middle of blowing snow storm by an 18 wheeler, winding up about 50 feet from a very large gulley.
11. Cassidy & Abi share the same birthday...you wouldn't believe how many people ask me if I planned it that way
12. I love the mountains
13. I love taking pictures
14. I stress eat
15. I love coloring.
16. I don't like the taste of wine
17. I drank more alcohol in 2008 then I probably drank in all my life prior to that.
18. I love steaks.
19. My favorite movie is Mannequin
20. The DDA'ers are my favorite people in the world
21. I seemed to have gained almost all of the 30 lbs that mysteriously left in the summer.
22. my favorite flowers are peach roses
23. I hate wearing hats
24. I hate talking on the phone
25. I don't know what I would do without all of the wonderful men and women I have met on the DDA. You all are the best cheerleaders, prayer warriors, got my back, whatever I need whenever I need it, friends.

My guess is that they are going to write 4. One for each park. That would make sense, right?

That could be! I told DS I was going to take his book and read it. He said "Fine. You will probably finish it tonight." So much for trying to goad him into reading it himself. He couldn't possibly read something and not get credit for it, so he is waiting until he goes back to school and he HAS to read every night. Goofball.

Wow. 25 things? Hmm.

1. I went to 6 different elementary schools.
2. I have lived in 6 different states.
3. I can't steer the car with just my right hand, but I frequently drive with just my left hand.
4. I can't put on mascara with my mouth open. I hear most people are the opposite.
5. I don't like my foods to touch each other on the plate.
6. I eat the foods from my plate one at a time. I finish one thing before I start the next thing.
7. I weigh more now than I have ever weighed before in my life.
8. I love the beach.
9. I can eat an astonishing amount of steamed snow crab at one sitting.
10. I love the show "Deadliest Catch".
11. I almost never wear make-up.
12. I have no desire to go to Disney Land.
13. I am a HORRIBLE housekeeper. (But I think everyone knew that.)
14. I talk to myself all the time. It helps me focus.
15. I played the cello for 3 years. I loved it.
16. I took tap, jazz, and ballet the same years I played cello. I loved that, too.
17. I wear size 8 shoes.
18. I HATE the show "Wife Swap". HATE IT!
19. I don't like bridges.
20. I love chocolate covered raspberry Gummi bears.
21. I love ice cream. And cake. But you knew about the cake.
22. I only keep in touch with one person I knew in high school, and one from middle school.
23. I hate to be splashed with water or have air blowing on me.
24. I like vanilla scented lotion.
25. I am thrilled to have the DDA for friends!
