I hope that Garrett is feeling better.

Colby's teacher told me yesterday that he isn't learning his letters as quickly as the other Kindergartners. She wants us to work with him at home. I did work with him yesterday and we even came up with a game to play in the car using all the different road signs. Hopefully he will catch up. Just one more thing to worry about. On the other hand Hunter hasn't taken Aleve for a couple of days and hasn't had a headache. Hopefully the cycle has been broken.

I spent an hour on the phone fighting with Sears yesterday over the bike. We finally agreed that we would hold on the the stroller until they had a bike to ship us. We have no idea when this will happen, but we should end up with a bike in the end. It's amazing how it went from "you need to place a new order" to "you must ship the stroller back or we will charge you" to which I told her she could try, but I would be contesting the charge. After that little bit of info she was more than willing to work with me Apparently they don't want to give us a $299.99 stoller for $68.88. She even gave me her email address so that we could communicate directly. I also went online and set it up so that I would be emailed when the bike is in stock again. Hopefully that mess is cleared up.

He is sipping some 7-up now, hopefully it will stay down!

Deb I am sure Colby will learn quick enough! Glad to hear Hunters headaches are gone & that the bike issue is taken care of soon.

Glynis - Love the pics!!

I was on the Sam's website. Looks like I can upload a pic and order my cards from the comfort of my home, then just go get them. I might have to try that!

I had to run to Hallmark for a few things. Princess is still petrified of Santa. I am relatively certain she is not going to get over it this year because her fear isn't improving.

Deb - Will Colby do flash cards with you? Princess has letters, numbers, and shapes that we bought at Dollar Tree and she asks to do them ALL the time. There is also a DVD called The Letter Factory that is done by the Leap Frog folks - she likes to watch that but it might be young for Colby.

Tia - I hope Kristi feels better soon!

No kidding! It's crazy some days. Okay, most days! I'm thinking there are many other reasons its a good thing I'm not nannying now. Erin needs help with Kaylin 3 days a week through Christmas due to crazy works schedules for both of them. Plus Kristi is grounded for at least the rest of the week. We'll find out tomorrow at her appointment when the doctor is clearing her to drive again. There is a small chance the bone cement could separate from the her own bone so I'm sure he'll be extra cautious. Plus, Chris has to be out of town the 13-16 so we'll pull overnight duty then. I do have a lunch date scheduled with a friend for Monday so that is something I'm looking forward to.

Here I thought I was on top of my shopping, but I seem to have little done. I have been waiting for Phil's extra holiday discount at Borders though so I'll knock out a lot of stuff there today. I think my list will look a lot happier after that. Now, what to get a 14yo boy. Anyone have any ideas?
