Sorry to be MIA so much, it's that time of year again.

For those of you on Facebook, please bare with me, I have no idea what I'm doing and don't really have the time to figure it out yet.

Glynis, Timothy is a doll, I think he looks most like Leslie. I'm glad your package arrived safely, I was little worried that Minnie wouldn't make it in one piece.

We're going to WDW Aug. 1-15!
I already fixed our DVC ressie. I am hemming and hawing on the plane tickets. I just KNOW as soon as I change them the price will drop!

I thought so too. He's precious, and I love the pics of the kids and your family with him. I would imagine he never gets put down.

Looking out the window, I can see four houses on our street with Christmas lights, trees, etc.

We have no decorations up yet.

I have done no wrapping.

It's only December 3rd, right?

Amy -- I'm behind on decorating and wrapping as well. You have three very young children who don't sleep. Do the decorating that is most important to you and resign yourself that breaking tradition is okay. Of course, I'm still not happy about my changes, but I just can't get all the decorating done.

Elizabeth -- is it cold enough out there for you? Our temps are at freezing or near freezing, with a windchill in the teens. I woke up early worrying about all the things I have to do, so I got up, dressed and stopped by Wal-Mart for office groceries before heading on. Off to try to get a lot done.

Good morning...I have been following along but just not in a really great mood.

I do have a favor to ask of all of you though. The other moms from preschool and I are trying to come up with a few ideas on something that we can do to help the other family. Since Emma's friends birthday is Dec 23rd and then Christmas is right then we thought we'd ask our friends and family to purchase a small gift for each of the girls and/or mom. We also thought some gift cards to the grocery store might be helpful as well. We also wanted to get toghether and prepare a few meals for them to stock their freezer. We have no idea what the financial situation is but I imagine it's not going to be great. The mom does not work and I don't know if the life insurance, if they had any, would become available any time soon.

Is there anything that you all can think of that might be better for us to do? I know you all will have some ideas that I just can't see. Thanks.

My immediat thought was to try to keep life as close to normal for the kids. If that means a birthday party then maybe you guys could help put one together. I think the gifts and shopping cards are a nice idea and the premade meals are very very thoughtful. If one of the Mom's is close with the other Mom then maybe she could feel her out for her needs. Perhaps what she needs is entirely different then what people are perceiving.

Ughhh...so I got 3 emails from facebook saying that my account has been tampered with and my password has probably been stolen. It also suggested running antivirus software which I was doing anyway as my computer found viruses on its this morning when I turned it on Now I wonder if I need to change passwords on all of my accounts or just Facebook?

I think that sounds great. But yes ask first....espescially about the freezer food.

Marci - Yep, it is cold enough! I hate cold weather. Princess and I have already been to the grocery store though, because the parking lot gets worse as the day goes on. I have also done a load of laundry, unloaded the dishwasher, and dropped off the dry cleaning. Princess has a haircut in a little while, then we'll get lunch at the mall.

Robyn - I just have no clue what you can do for the family. So many policies have a suicide clause - I hope that is NOT the case for them. I would lean towards gift cards for groceries, gas, etc. in case she runs low on cash. If she had to come up with money for burial or cremation she may have maxed out her credit cards. Also, if he didn't have his accounts and stuff done properly she may have trouble getting to the money they have. Just a thought.
