::yes:: $.79 on a $10 transaction! :confused3 There is a % charge plus $.30 per transaction. If you choose to join their premier status the % is less. There is also a limit of 5 transfers per year now, I think, unless you opt for premier status. :sad2:

Elin, I was determined to get these posted before we left for Thanksgiving. I'm sorry I'm such a slacker! Thank you again for the wonderful surprise package!
Noah was sleeping when the kids opened his new frog:

Such sweet kiddos! I miss you! Let's get together one more time at least between now and Christmas? :teeth: Travel safely!

Loved the pictures, Amy! Thanks for letting me see how the kiddos reacted. Have a safe and fun trip. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

After looking at all the transactions, it appears that the fees were actually charged to the sender's account, not mine. I wonder why they would charge her??

The final results are the same however... Net deposit was down by $.79. That is a ridiculous amount!

yes..they always charge the receiver....guess it would be the cost of utilizing their services. all things considered I am happy with their services....although the fee for getting in foreign funds I thought was quite high

eta...I guess you could look at it as if you were using a charge card...the CC companies charge a percentage of each transaction etc.

But I was the receiver.... and I have never been charged a fee before. The charge was made to the sender and I have never been charged a fee for that before either. :confused3

ETA: I just looked at every other payment I have received in the past 12 months and this is the only one where a fee was charged. I am even more confused.

I hope you all aren't getting sick! :grouphug:

I hope not.

Cute pictures Amy & I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Ditto!

Well, we just came in from Chuck E. Cheese and we have NO housekeeper. :confused3 I don't know what the deal is. I have Princess down for her nap, so I hope the housekeeper doesn't show up in the next few minutes and wake her.

I don't feel sick, but my head still feels just a little weird. Luckily I am only working a half day tomorrow.

I am off to work. Talk to you all tonight! :goodvibes

A friend just sent this to me and I thought it was quite appropriate for our group!

Powerful Women's Motto:

Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders & says..."Oh sh*t .....she's awake!!"

And I thought it was just my husband that thought that :rotfl: :rotfl:

Everytime I read this I have to remind myself that Deb is not on probation. In my world, PO stands for probation officer!:rotfl2:

:lmao: Maybe in Elizabeth's world it is a P*ssed of Postman on Probation :lmao:

Well, that was quick. The doctor wants me there at 9:45. Guess I had better go get dressed and out the door. Have a good one everybody!

I read this and you posted at 9:40 that you had a 9:45 appointment. I forgot about the time difference between here and there:rolleyes1

The private schools have a rule about how late into the winter the kids can wear shorts. The public schools don't care. I see kids getting out of the cars in carpool all the time in shorts, even when it is REALLY cold. DS has no interest in shorts since it has cooled off.

I haven't seen many kids wearing shorts here, but some teachers and parents are. And we wonder why our kids do the things they do. I especially like the Dad's that wear shorts with workboots or even winter boots :sad2:

But, he was happy to interact with him when he woke up!

Nice photos. After seeing that last picture of Noah I figured out how you've managed on now sleep for so long. That smile would make you move mountains

I went down to my aunts today to bake chocolate chip cookies for her. I did three batches, 4 dozen per batch. Friday I will make peanut butter cookies for her, probably the same amount.

Do you think I should rent my self out to other people? :teeth: Would people be willing to pay someone to make homemade cookies for them? :confused3 :rotfl:

I need to get ready for work. I subbed in the school office this morning. It was very quiet, which is not what they expected. From there I went to Colby's party. Every parent brought what they said they would :cool1: The kids were all dressed up and so patient. They set the tables, got there plates and all of them sat back down and waited until every kid had a plate and was sitting down before they ate. They went around the tables and each one was asked for one thing they were thankful for. Many were thankful for their Mom's and Dad's, my son...he was happy for water :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Mind you he doesn't drink water. Apparently he just learned that water is the main component in everything :thumbsup2 I'll try to post a picture or two when I get home tonight.

Elizabeth :wizard: that you and DH aren't getting sick.

Tia hope the meds kick in fast and you are feeling better soon. :wizard:

Um I am paying my friend to make pies for Thanksgiving & for making me a cookie tray for Christmas. Even if I had my oven back I still would pay her to do this!

Oh she just called & has made the Rum cake for me that that Chanon posted here, I can't wait to try it tomorrow!

I would pay for that. And if you will clean my kitchen when you are finished baking I would pay A LOT.

Elizabeth :wizard: that you and DH aren't getting sick.

Thanks!

It has been so nice and quiet. I wasn't looking forward to Princess napping while the housekeeper was banging doors and running water. And vacuuming IN HER ROOM while she's trying to sleep, which is what happened last time. I really wish we had a housekeeper who arrived about 9 AM and left by 1 PM so it wasn't so disruptive.

Today is my last day off till I leave for Disney & I feel like I am drugged. My head is spinning & I feel so groggy. Not how I was planning on today being. So I have accomplished nothing :sad2: I am ready to go back to sleep, does anyone have extra energy to send my way?

Hunter is still getting headaches pretty much daily, even with the new glasses. I just made an appointment at his doctor's for Monday. I can't imagine why a healthy 11 year old would have daily headaches

Ugh! Sounds like a lot of us are coming down with some sort of crud. :sad2: I hope you feel better soon! :wizard:

I'm sorry the new glasses aren't helping! I hope the Dr. has some suggestions! :wizard:

The neighbor came by to tell me the housekeeper wasn't able to come today, but she can come tomorrow. Um, no. I told her yesterday that the housekeeper can NOT come tomorrow because my bosses are leaving at lunchtime. I understand that she needs the money, but tomorrow is NOT a good day for her to come. So she can come next Monday on her regularly scheduled day.

Well, i just got back from the doctors..i have fluid behind my ears, congestion and more..i juts took my meds and im going to go lay down..i REFUSE to be sick!
