Seems the DDA as a whole needs a few hundred of these:hug:

Robyn-I hope your thumb doesn't hurt too bad...yeah for Lucy feeling better and Emma's way cool report card!!

Kristine-I hope today went okay.

Elizabeth-I am sorry that your relationship with your mom has gotten to this point. I can totally empathize...it still hurts but it hurts worse when they mess with our kids.

Becky-life never seems to quite give you the break you so deserve.

Marci-I guess I didn't realize how serious your shoulder was. I hope you are able to find relief in some way.

For those who are facing the death of their beloved animals..what a hard decision.

As my job is getting closer to the end I am sad because so many people are saddened and looking for answers that I really can't give them...I also have to sit through a sermon on Sunday.

Elin - were you at the wine tasting tonight?

Theresa, you really said everything so well.

Evening all, I am to tired to respond to all the posts so I am sending a blanket of :wizard: &

Robyn - I am glad things were not as bad as you first feared!

Terry - for you with your sweet pets. Our dog is 12 1/2 and not in the best of health with Addison's Disease and arthritis. She eats well and accasionally wants to play but those times are fewer and farther between these days. She has also gotten a little "forgetful" lately. She will go to the bathroom in the hall by the bathroom and then come tell us she has to go out. Good thing we have a vet appt. next month.

Terry -

I really need to call and make an appt to have my oldest dog put down. He is 18 and feeling every bit of it. He's pretty much blind and deaf, and arthritic. I almost called while I was driving home today to make the appt. If I'm going to do it I need to do it before my trip to cut my kenneling cost in half. I can't bear to do it though. He was my first pet after I went out on my own, and has been with me ever since, through thick and thin. He is the one that stayed by my side, never left me, and has been with me longer than anyone. Probably longer than anyone combined!

You have a lot on your plate, Becky.

Kathrin did not get the job at The Princeton Review. :(

That is all I know because she texted me as I was teaching and then she was headed out to dinner with her room mates.

I'm very sorry to hear this, Elin. :hug:s for you and her.

Did you sample any good wines?

Tammi, that is a long, long time to have someone you love stay by your side.

Thanks, Tammi.

Actually all 6 of the ones they were featuring at the free tasting were good. They are the ones they are suggesting for Thanksgiving dinner.

And then I had two tastings of two new ones (new to me anyway). I had Conundrum (a white table wine from Monterey, CA)

And a delicious red that I will only ever be drinking out of the Enomatics! $50 a bottle retail is a bit out of my price range. It is called Amicus and is from X Winery.

I have to be at the University tomorrow morning at 7:00 to judge a Jazz Festival. So, methinks heading to bed is a good idea! See you all in the morning. G'night.

I'm so sorry that it didn't work out. I hope something good comes along for her very soon. :grouphug:

Emma got her first report card with actual grades and it was straight A's!!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
Yay for Emma!!!!!!:thumbsup2

Princess just walked up and handed me a booger.

Theoretically I should be going home in 3 hours or less.

I am so sorry. I had to do that with my cats & it just hurts.

Be sure to let me know if it works. ;)
Will do!

I got my computer back. Although it took John since he got home from work, and we had to uninstall McAfee.

Hugs to all of you. :wizard: I am sorry it is so crazy for all of us.

So I asked for good thoughts for my family and told you I would share later. So here it goes.

Yummmm, enchiladas are fully eaten and thoroughly enjoy. But now I've got to go get that living room finished. Wish me luck! :scared:

Tia, you are making me hungry for spicy food. Guess I'll have to settle for ice cream.

Tomorrow Nicholas has a birthday party to go to and then I think Bob is taking him to a model train display at the armory. I have no idea what Alyssa and I will do. Then tomorrow we are going to see The Nutcracker.

Yum! I may need some of that as my "all finished" reward. I was going to go for Chinese thanks to the earlier suggestions, but came across the Mexican menu in the process. Love love love their enchilada combo plate with one of each - chicken, beef, beans and cheese. Throw out the word "quesadilla" and I had Terra on board too.
