DDA Chapter 15

I've got a ton that you can come wrap when you're done. I haven't found time to start yet.

I did get outside and managed to get 2 of the trees up. The third tree had an entire section of lights out and I didn't have time to fix it after I fixed the second one. Why can't anything be simple. Then I put up a set of candy canes and realized that one wasn't working. Why didn't I throw those out last year? I had to take those down and put up another set.

I'll wrap for you, if you come decorate for me! It sounds like you are getting it all together. Me, not so much yet.

Thanks for the Christmas card! It even answered a question that I had been pondering all day. I was wondering if it would look ok to use some of our vacation photos for our cards instead of a "Christmas" picture. I love your photos!

IS IT TIME FOR THE BID YET???

I woke up at 2 AM when DH got up and couldn't go back to sleep. Now we are down to the last hour. I am climbing the walls. I put new plane tickets on hold. I am looking at ADRs. I think we have decided to scrap US/IOA until 2010.

So IF DH gets 2 weeks back to back we will be there for my birthday! I filled out the online registration form to get my free ticket or whatever. Not that filling it out is all that important, but I did it anyway. I have to figure out where to eat dinner on my birthday! LOVED Flying Fish last year, so that's a possibility.

Jennifer - I am glad Jeff fixed your laptop!

Elin & Deb - Sorry your decorations aren't cooperating.

Theresa - At least you were able to decipher what the tech support lady was telling you so you could fix the computer! That's not always the case.

Thanks! I think that is what I am going to do. It's not looking particularly "Christmasy" around here right now anyway, and I want to get started on cards. Plus there is that whole try to get everyone together at the same time and look happy...pretty much an impossibility. Now to pick one out...

I've decorated outside, but not inside. I am always done by now. At least the trees are up, but Hunter was responsible for that.

I'm glad you like the card. I'm afraid that not everyone got the photo as I ran out. I ended up printing up more, but I had sealed the envelopes before I printed them That is what I get for trying to do them late at night. If anyone didn't get a photo and wants one let me know.

We always cut our tree the first weekend in December. It is so late this year with December 1st being on a Monday. But I can't complain, because my house is too much of a mess to bring the tree into at this point. We don't really decorate outside. The tree stands in the main living room bay window, and we have "candles" for the other front windows. Then there is Susan (my daughter's light up doe) that stands outside.

Another teacher at the preschool gave me an adorable 2' artificial tree that she doesn't use any more today. I'll find a place for that and maybe use all the Disney ornaments on it. Though there may be too many of those. Hmmm...maybe it can be a Peanuts tree. I have a lot of those, too, though. I really need to start cleaning and organizing around here. I never thought it could get any worse, but somehow it has.

Sorry to stir up trouble! I haven't been around much and the first thing I do when I get back is cause problems.

She does look strikingly like Arabella. Especially with the light in her mouth! We still haven't come to a decision about the tree. DH wants to put up a naked tree and see how it goes for a couple of days. If she leaves it alone we can think about adding lights or something. But Aurora is the one with the taste for wires. Arabella is just naughty.

No trouble at all. I actually have the photos printed and sitting on top of the computer cabinet I thought about opening the envelopes an sticking them in, but then I decided that I would just send them to people that actually want them Call me lazy.

Heidi, I'm practically on your way to Vermont (well, if you go the long way ). You can stop by here, but I can't let you in until the house gets cleaned and fixed. So, it could be a while.

I just looked it up, Heidi! I didn't realize that you were so close to Scranton. You're only about 2 hours from me.
