Thanks! DH couldn't remember where that particular ornament was on the tree, but I can't imagine that she yanked it hard enough to get the ornament off and leave the string on the tree. I will have to look around on the floor when I get home. Of course DS has his concert tonight so I have no idea how late we will be out.

And the weather right around here is fine... chilly and rainy, but no ice or snow. Others are so much worse off!

It is a really snowy day here! I can't believe how much has come down, and the weatherman is saying there is more on the way. I know my kids will be thrilled, but I hate it!!! I need to get to the grocery store, but I just don't want to drive in the snow, not to mention I don't really want to take Timothy out in this weather. Guess I'll have to re-check the pantry and see if I can throw together a meal without leaving the house. Wish me luck! I haven't don't a comprehensive grocery shopping trip since the baby was born, and we're running low on staples.

I want to make sure all of the kids get their exchange by Christmas so let's work it out by tomorrow so an exchange can get in the mail tomorrow. Please!!

It was 26 here and dry when I came in to work today. It started drizzling around 8am when Jeff was headed to the babysitter's with the girls and then on to work.

I just found out a good friend of mine is pregnant after a year and a half of trying (with just about every possible drug to help). They are so excited!
I planned on going to Hallmark to buy a card, but found out I can personalize cards on the Hallmark site. Problem is, I can't come up with a good saying besides "congratulations to the parents to be". I'd love to put something more but can't think of anything.
Anyone have any suggestions??

It's a Christmas miracle May I ask how they close the hole where the trach was? I envision a hole in his throat, but I'm sure I am wrong.

Actually it is just the way it was 24 hours ago, no bandage, no stitches. It just closed up and they let it heal. It sinks back in a little, and puckers up, but other then that no medical attention. It's quite amazing.

Well I right this, this morning after a very calm night. No alarms, no stats below 97 and besides the ice and junk outside I think I'm waiting for a Dr. to come up this morning and release us.

I wish I could have Alan pick up something. He was called out of town on an assignment, and won't be home until after 11:00 tonight.

Luckily, I found some hamburger helper in the pantry, and I know we have ground turkey in the freezer. Dinner solved!
