Tammi - DS licks his lips. It drives me nuts! Aquaphor heals them very nicely, but it is kind of messy. He carries Soft Lips in his backpack to use at school. I also read on the Family board about giving kids magnesium supplements to reduce "tics" and when DS takes it regularly he licks his lips less. That may just be coincidence, but I figured the magnesium won't hurt him.

Thank you! I'm glad to know I don't have the only kid with a red ring around her mouth. What you see in the picture is nothing to what it looks like now. I'll try the magnesium idea, Elizabeth.

Kristin and I bought annual passes there this summer and were thinking of going up for the Christmas Festivities. If you can't go and want to try to coordinate with us next month let me know!

I don't NEED to go, I just thought it would be fun to join with his class since they will be right near me. I've been a couple times. We've even done the cruise down on the Spirit of Washington. I used to get free tickets from the Ladies Auxillary, the group who essentially runs Mt. Vernon, but I've lost touch with my "contact". But keep me posted on what you intend to do!

I for one am happy it is Thursday! My Wednesdays are from Hades and I look forward to Thursdays every single week! Sorry yours is nasty.

I am wearing my new dress for a new day....I am turning in my resignation today, my last day WILL be the day before Thanksgiving. We are going to celebrate at Cheeburger Cheeburger for supper.

I didn't sleep very well last night....I am nervous as I have never stepped out on faith quite like this before.

Hmm, that is what I was wondering. My toaster oven is not really big enough to make casseroles in, well unless I use 2 smaller dishes.

I just ordered some new jeans on Macy*s.com and got 20% off their sale price plus free shipping. I also ordered two new pair of the Skechers shoes that I have fallen in love with from DSW.com. I had two GCs totaling $30 plus free shipping there too.

I love that I don't have to go out shopping today! I am supposed to have lunch with my co-workers and I have another raging sinus headache. Other people get aches and pains when the weather changes. I always get sinus headaches. Tylenol Sinos PLUS "take me away!"

I hear you on that! I am glad I took the time a couple of weeks ago and made the spaghetti sauce and two soups and stew. I don't have to worry about what they are going to fix now! And I don't have to go to the store too much either.

I hope the headache goes away ASAP! They are jackhammering outside our office today, and have been since 7 a.m. I'm beginning to feel a headache as well, though I've had a sinus one off and on since Monday.

I've been meaning to post this reminder to everyone: I bet you all do this anyway, but check your kids' facebook and myspace pages frequently, especially if they are looking for full-time/part-time work. Employers frequently check to see if their applicants have one, and if so, what is on them. When we were hiring our last intern, we had several candidates that looked good on paper, but we knocked a couple out of the running because of things that were on their pages.

Thanks, Janet! I am pretty sure she said they are staying at CBR. But I told her last week about the 7 for 4 deal, so she might have ended up switching. at any rate, when I see her today I will tell her I mixed up the resorts.

Hopefully DS either won't have Band (which would mean I could easily pick him up before ballet) or DH will be able to go get him after Band. If he does have Band and DH runs late we will have quite a mess.

I forgot to mention that I am still in the running for the Post Office job. I got an email asking for more information as they need to to a background check. I need to fax them a form so hopefully I can do that from the office at school. At some point I'll have to have a drug test. No worries there
