funny thing is, I was called for a temp position this evening and I had to turn it down. I did tell the lady I was turning in my resignation next week so to please keep me in mind.

If I were you I would have took the temp job and quit on the spot. Enough is Enough.

Thank you!!! I am gathering ideas/recipes for gift baskets for us to give out at Christmas. I figured I can make them ahead and then freeze.

They freeze very well. We line the pan with a large enough piece of aluminum foil that we can wrap it in when it comes out of the oven. When it comes out of the oven, we take it out of the pan and set it out to cool. Once cooled, wrap it up tight in the aluminum foil and place that in a ziploc bag and then freeze.

It is even more unbelievable in person. You really want to be there for the lighting. I have to say it is breathtaking.

Stephanie was telling me about the little ceremony they do before the lighting and as she was talking, I was getting goose bumps and a little teary eyed. I cannot wait to see it in person.

so instead of somebody coming in...I got called in to the big man's office and got reamed for some things. I will own up to one of them as bad judgement but the rest are stupid little things that I get to be brought up in front of SPRC for I need to decide if I just hand them my resignation at that time or wait until I've got a job.

I also decided to tell the girls about the divorce tonight...I figured might as well get it ALL out. I am a glutton for punishment.

I hope the girls understand

My kids got their school pictures back today. Pay no attention to Alyssa's horrible chapped lips. She has this bizarre need to lick her lips all the way down to her chin. They get cherry red in the winter because of the cold. I put neosporin on them at night and give her chapstick for the day, but I don't think she applies it very often. I'm not real sure I'm thrilled with the casual-type pose they did this year either.

Hi all...

The meeting went well except for the fact that our old leader refused to acknowledge our presence. What ever! Everyone was extremely nice and I am excited to get us up and running.
