I know it is, from personal experience. Especially when there is a DDA gathering. But since August is my travel month for work, I need to find out which 2 weeks they are, then I can start planning.

I missed Steffy in my earlier post. I am sorry you still aren't feeling like yourself. It's been way too long.

I think once you get past this afternoon's shindig you will sleep better, Robyn. And I think you need to stay snuggled up on the couch a little longer!

I'm sorry you aren't sleeping. I can completely empathize, I've always had sleep troubles

Truth be told, this shower has sort of been but just a blip on my calendar. I've not made one list, which normally I would have had 4 or 5 by now. Everyone is sort of pitching in and bringing this and that so I'm really only in charge of the location and the cake, which I ordered at Costco.

I know why I'm not sleeping and I fear that it's only going to get worse before it gets better. There is a situation that has presented itself in the past week that I am having a hard time internalizing and dealing with. I hate to be so cryptic with everyone as I wish I could share more but I just can't.

Truth be told, this shower has sort of been but just a blip on my calendar. I've not made one list, which normally I would have had 4 or 5 by now. Everyone is sort of pitching in and bringing this and that so I'm really only in charge of the location and the cake, which I ordered at Costco.

I need to make ADR's soon & I want to try a couple of new places out. Gary wants to eat at Ohana & the Beirgarten again. I told him about Cape May for dinner & Tusker House for breakfast & he wants to try those as well.

Has anyone eaten at the Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club or at the Turf Club at SSR? These both look like good places to eat a nice dinner. I was thinking the Turf Club would be easy to get to beings we are staying at POR, wonder if we can take a boat there or if we need to go to DTD 1st?

I looked at Jiko's, Citrico's, Artist Point, & a few other places, but these two seemed to have a menu we would both like. We will not be on the dining plan, I will use my DDE card.

Thoughts, opinions?

I'm sorry that you are having to deal with a big issue I certainly hope that it isn't anything that directly effects you or your family.

I don't know, they may not be upset at all. They are getting older and may understand that mom and dad need some alone time.

I have not told the boys yet, I know they won't be to happy. But I will remind them that they will have their trip in August.

They will be upset. My kids understand Mommy and Daddy time, and don't mind as long as it isn't anywhere that they deem fun. WDW is not a place that is acceptable for us to go without them. I suspect that Janet may be in the same boat.
