DDA Chapter 14

DH went and pulled about 14 pairs of pants out of his closet, and in the end he decided that only 3 pairs don't fit. :confused3 Whatever.

Deb - Glad the furnace is working! :thumbsup2

We had to turn our A/C back on - it was just too hot in here.

Stephanie it sounds like you may need to visit your doctor. I know from personal experience that some of these current viruses just won't go away on their own.
Went to the doctor on Friday. Got an antibiotic, but it sure isn't doing a thing. In fact, I feel worse than I did on Friday....

Boo hoo!!!!

Stephanie - I think perhaps you ought to go BACK to the Dr!

DS has finished his project except for the drawings. I think he has done just under half of those. It is almost impossible to think of something to draw when the words all mean the same thing. :headache: And he wants to draw with markers. There are 50ish words on there, along with a title and a sentence about why these words are important. There is very little room left for drawings, especially marker drawings that end up looking like little smudges. I told him I am finished fighting with him over it. If he gets a crummy grade then he will know it was because he wasn't careful with the drawings. The rest of it is on target for 100%, according to the grading scale.

Hi, everyone! Don't faint, or anything, but I'm back!

Life is slowing down somewhat and I'm ready to rejoin the human race. I know there's no way I'll ever be able to read and catch up, so I'm just jumping in here. Hopefully, some kind soul will be able to give me a Reader's Digest Condensed Version for me.

I do want to thank all of you who sent condolences either by card, or by Facebook! It has meant so much to me! I also want to thank you for the beautiful arrangement of flowers! My dad was absolutely amazed! I was so touched! The flowers came before the funeral, and I just had to sit and cry at your thoughtfulness! Dad wanted me to express his thanks, as well.

With that, I'll quietly slip into the background and try to piece together what's been happening in the last couple of weeks.

Hand him a belt :lmao:

The grocery shopping is done, Hunter's back from his party and.....The new furnace is working :cool1: The house is nice and toasty and we are no longer burning oil. I am pleased that there is really no smoke at all, even less than what the oil furnace put out :thumbsup2

Yea for the furnace working :yay:

I definitely think you should go back to the doctor! You need to be well before Mousefest!

Peanut is doing great! I had an ultrasound on Wednesday to check his kidneys again for the Down's Syndrome marker. Both the doctor and the ultrasound doctor don't think there's much risk for Down's. The baby's kidney's are both dilated somewhat, which can be a Down's marker, but none of the other markers are showing up at all. They think it is more likely that he's having a problem with his kidneys eliminating. Once he's born, they'll monitor his kidney output and probably do an ultrasound on him as well. Our pediatrician has been alerted, and he'll check Peanut out thoroughly. My doctor said that it's quite common for little boy babies to have dilated kidneys during a pregnancy, but for it all to be ok when they are born, so I've decided not to worry until it's necessary.

Stephanie glad to hear you are going back to the doctor.

Well it appears that Airtran has canceled another flight on me. Guess I won't be coming home from Orlando. :headache:

We were supposed to leave MCO at 6 PM. Now the nonstop flight from MCO to DCA leaves at 1 PM. Um, no, not acceptable. The rest of the flights that day have connections. Again, won't do. So I feel a big battle with Airtran is in my future.

ETA: Oopsie. My mistake. I did something wrong. It's still there. Whew.

Oh, I am so glad to see it was a weird glitch-y thing and your flight is still there! I am on pins and needles for Kathrin's non-stop flights on AirTran for next month. They are both almost sold out so I don't think they will mess with them, but you never know!

I'm still sick. Really tired of this crap.

I am so sorry, Stephanie.

What have you got? I spent the better part of yesterday and today in bed napping off and on. I have been ache-y and have run a low-grade fever and had a nasty headache. I am assuming either I had a bad reaction to my flu shot or I caught some little bug from one of my munchkins. I am feeling somewhat better tonight.

Welcome home, Glynis. We have missed you terribly.

Sounds like Peanut is doing great.

Elin,Elizabeth, Deb and all...He said my sinuses were infected. No temp. But since I've been home, I've been coughing up a lung, whole body hurts, headache of all headaches!!! and my nose is a faucet. I feel like crap. I seem to have had the same thing last year, and he gave me the same drug he gave me last year. I hope that it is maybe a delayed reaction and I'll feel 100% better tomorrow.:hippie:

I sure hope this drug didn't work last year, but I never called him back to tell him that it didn't work.:scared1:
