Well they've just made a press release so I guess I can talk about it. During a water rescue training exercise, an officer went under and hasn't been seen since about 2:45 this afternoon. This happened in Pohick Bay, an offshoot of the Potomac River. An extensive search is continuing, but hope is waning. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. He has a wife and 3 children. I'm going to watch the news and see if they have anything on yet.

Nicholas is doing fine and will be going to school tomorrow. I should be okay since I've been on antibiotics since last weekend for my sinus infection. Hopefully it will stay away from Alyssa. Thanks for all the good wishes.

I am glad that Nicholas is feeling better. that it continues to escape Alyssa.

Will someone please tell me why I continue to read reviews after our trip plans are set.

I keep reading reports of how bad OKW is, and tonight I found a thread about the extremely high crowds levels.

Jet Blue changed my flight out of Boston Jan 28 from 9am to 7:15. Even if I get a room at the airport I would have to get up at 5am. I was thinking about getting a room just so I wouldn't have to worry about the weather.

I could call and ask to be changed to the 10:20 flight but I must say I like the idea of getting to Orlando around 10:15 instead of 1:30.

Not sure what to do.....

I think getting in at 10ish sounds perfect that way you can spend the day in the parks and then call it an early night.

Yeah..we have Evening conferences 7-9 on Tuesday and THursday...Wednesday and Friday are afternoon conferences 145-3:45

You're conferences seem early. Emma has hers the week of Thanksgiving.

Yay for your foot and for surviving the TV appearance!

Nothing exciting planned for today. Princess has school. Momboss is coming back from her business trip so I should be off at a reasonable time. Not sure when exactly, but at my normal time or earlier. I guess I should start pulling out all of Princess's new clothes and get them washed since it looks like we are going to have some cooler weather. Momboss packed up almost ALL of her summer stuff so it has been a huge challenge to dress her over the past 2 weeks. She only has a few pairs of shorts and a few short sleeved shirts in her closet now, and the things that are left don't really match each other. Not quite sure how that happened.

Robyn -- I'm glad Mo and Lucy liked their longhorns. Were they excited to see y'all? Does Eric appreciate you more now? I hope you are feeling better.

Not a lot going on after work. I have to get my car inspected, help kids with homework, and hopefully last more than 15 minutes on the elliptical. That's all I've been able to do the last couple of nights. I also need to weed out extra toys (it won't be hard!) for a family that our VP is helping through her work at CASA. (Court Appointed Special Advocate for children) We may get rain today, and supposedly we've already reached the high today -- we'll see.
