Hi! Just crazy busy at work so exhausted. And still having sinus issues. Now all the kids & DH have colds. I can hear poor Joe hacking away upstairs. Sounds a bit croupy. I don't miss those days. DH & I got flu shots today.






Thanks. My feeling was more "I hate this thing, I hate this thing, what did I get myself into....." I'm liking it a bit more today. There are loops in the pant cuffs and the armholes of the vest for glow necklaces.

I need to make something easier next though.

I hope everyone feels better soon.

I love the costume because I am not making it. No really, it's so cool!! I wish I had the talent and patience, you'll make it fabulous.

Robyn....I forgot to add....I really can't complain too much about work. It just this time that is so crazy. AND.....the president annouced a few weeks ago that they are giving us BOTH the day after Christmas and day after New Years as EXTRA paid holidays. How cool is that? We probably will not make are targets to get a bonus next year so this was really nice.

Yay for the extra days off!! Sorry you probably won't get a bonus though. Eric told me that his work found $5,000,000.00 that they need to spend. How about raises or even bonuses, no that would be too logical. They are buying new computers and printers. I, for one, can't figure out how you can miss $5 million.

Robyn-I also forgot to add....have you ever tried Emergen-C or something like that-a high dose vitamin C supplement?

I'm using Zicam as it worked like a charm the last time.

I had a little girl start kicking me on the monorail. It was deliberate and continuous. Her mother was oblivious. I finally said, "Please stop kicking me; it is rude." Her mother was appalled! As well she should have been.

It is unimaginable to me to have a 2 year old kicked out of a WDW attraction. If his behavior is like that at your house I have only one thing to say...

He is not like that or he'd be gone. He has his moments but I don't put up with it. He spends a lot of time in the chair and his parents know it. Of course, his parents never mentioned the incident. I wonder why

And I think you are exactly right. The 80 degree weather sure is helping. And I refuse to turn my A/C back on so it gets hot and miserable in here during the afternoon.

Less than 3 days until we leave

Chris' Mother called this morning. Apparently she is leaving her worthless boyfriend of 17 years She needs Chris to help her move. He politely told her that she'd have to wait a bit since we will be on a cruise We are hoping that she will become a nicer person once she gets away from him. He is an alcoholic and from what she said today, he is a drug user too She always chooses men that need to be enabled, that has been the pattern of her entire life. I'm sure more details will emerge when we help move her, but at least she is taking control of her own life even if only for a moment.
