DDA Chapter 13

DS has just been telling us more about his little adventure on Saturday night. It turns out they were LEAVING DOLLAR TREE at 8:30 PM!
They used DS's phone to call the dad and let him know they were headed back to the house. It was COMPLETELY DARK by then! And they hadn't had dinner yet! OK, no more sleepovers at that kid's house. Nice kid, obviously clueless parents who are also disorganized.

It was to saucy for me, but yes I did eat it. See I don't even care for spaghetti sauce, I use very little for me.

well, Carbonara shouldn't be too sauce-y I would think, Heidi. Did you try it?

Glad that it came out good.

Well I decided to try the Jiffy cornbread mix in the microwave(found on the net where someone had tried it)& it came out really good

I bought a Fix it & Forget it Slow Cooker magazine today & wow it it has some yummy, easy recipes in it. I can't wait to try some of them out!

Elin - where did you book your carriage ride? I made our reservation at FtW but all they had was 8PM. I was hoping for something earlier, since our Park Fare ADR is 4:30. Plus I want to get to get the kids to bed at a decent hour. I'll keep checking to see if something earlier opens.

Real quick pop in but I had to share....

Eric and the boys' grandma talked on the way home today. Her thoughts...why aren't there more rides like at Hershey Park? (you would have known that had you 1) asked me or 2) actually did research. Should have waited til the boys were older~ say 5 and 6. Ty was fine the first 3 days and then was a tired, cranky, whining mess~ why, no naps or rest time!! Do you know why they went, because Molly went and Ty told Grandma that he should go to. Molly went to WDW so Ty should go to WDW. Molly has a big kid bike so Ty got a big kid bike. Molly has a Wii so Ty is getting a Wii for Christmas.

Oh, and the funniest, Jake got kicked out of Turtle Talk. He kicked the lady in front of him and bit the guy next to him. He's 2!!

Hmmmm..now that we have narrowed down the county we will be living in, I happened to check the school schedule. You know just out of curiousity!

I have my mind set on being in WDW somewhere around 8/9-8/20. Dana has a regional meeting sometime in August so we may have to move that around but that is the plan for now.
