ummm...where in my carry on am I supposed to put fry sauce?:confused3 :rotfl:

Tonight is packing night!!:cool1:

Hmmmmm, we'll have to think on that one! Do you guys have fry sauce in Colorado, or is that a total Utah thing?

For anyone who has taken their children to see Kung Fu Panda...

Will I totally regret taking my little ones? I know it's rated PG...does that mean they use words like "stupid" a lot?

Thanks in advance! :)

We saw it. Leighanna loved it!
I think it is rated PG for violence. You know the kung fu kinda stuff!?!

I don't remember thinking as I saw the movie, "Gee, they really could have done without that language!".
If you see it, have fun!

Is it wrong that I giggle at my cat??:confused3 She has 2 enlarged mammary "pouches", hopefully just a reaction from anesthesia and treatments. But Cassidy last night said..."Pearl has big "girls" like the rest of us" :lmao: I swear to heaven it was all I could do not to bust out laughing!!

Theresa - I have never heard of fry sauce. What do you do with it?
It's not enough that you shave the cat, now you are making fun of her kitty, um, bosoms? She must be so humiliated! :sad2:

So I got this e-mail yesterday that they are having a teacher appreciation "soup" lunch on Monday. Great. Being the culinary goddess that I am, I can't decide how to approach this. I think perhaps I will buy some soup from Whole Foods or somewhere and take it to school. Maybe I will pour it into a big vat of some sort first. OR I thought about going to Sam's and buying several big packages of bakery rolls to go with the soup. The mom who is organizing the whole thing is DS's friend's mom, so I want to contribute something.

Fry sauce is a Utah invention....I think. It's just mayonnaise mixed with equal part of ketchup or bbq sauce. We use it on fries, onion rings, burgers, etc. Very yummy stuff!!!! Addictive!

Oh, my! Definitely not for me! :rotfl2:
My best guy friend in high school used to mix mayo & ketchup and dip his fries in it. :scared:

What in the world is "fry sauce?" (Nevermind, you already answered that.)

We saw Kung Fu Panda, but I can't help you much. I was with Miles, and since he's 9, I didn't really notice that kind of language. There is nothing I would deem inappropriate for a 9 year old, but that doesn't help you too much. :rotfl:

Mmmmm...rolls. I kind of like carbs, so I like this idea. I think buying soup somewhere is fine, too.

Oh, that's not really my kind of thing, since I don't like ketchup or mayo. I like malt vinegar on my fries, though usually we just have salt.

So, I'm back from the hospital and my two tests. My doctor would be thrilled to know that I left the cardiac center and went straight to McDonald's. ;) I guess now I just need to wait for results. I consider it good news that they didn't immediately slap a wrist band on me and put me in a bed.

I had it in England first (but they add relish:scared: ) and the kids here do it, and have for awhile, but it's not a big thing.

I got my taste for mayonnaise for dipping fries and onion rings in over in England...you should see the looks I get. :upsidedow

I would consider that good news too!!:thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Oh, it's awfully good!!!! Sometimes you can add some tobasco sauce to give it a little kick!

No, no, no kick in my food, thank you.

Beth - Glad your tests are complete! Hopefully they won't take forever with the results! :wizard:

I think I will e-mail the mom who is in charge of Soup Day and ask her if she would prefer a gallon of soup (which I guess serves about 12) or rolls and cookies from Sam's to round out the offerings.

at the elementary school in Billings we did the same thing with soup & salad. I always would send rolls. I was thrilled when they found a local restaurant that catered it for us at $5 a family that had signed up to help...so it was actually cheaper for us:banana:

Thanks! I'm fully expecting there to be nothing wrong, and I certainly hope that I'm right.

I need to go get dinner made so that I can get Miles and his friend to swimming.
