That would be our problem too. The frugal side of me hasn't even figured out a way to justify point rental on the lowest point value stuff. There's no way I could figure out a rationale for these points at this point in time.

My plans are:

Fri - most likely Epcot for F&WF. Will hit the booths at WS rope drop. Dinner at Whispering Canyon then DTD. (If for some reason I can hit enough booths during the preview on Thurs, we may do MK this day, but I don't know.)
We don't arrive until 11:30 p.m. this day.

Sat - Magic Kingdom, Family Magic Tour in the morning, dinner at 1900 Park Fare, Spectro and Wishes.
We are planning to check into the Poly and head to the AK. What time are you doing Spectro? The first or second one? We have a 9:20 ADR at Ca Grill.

Sun - Depart early morning for our flight

I believe that Jennifer's plans overlap ours on both of those days, but I don't know what her Sun plans are. I'd love the chance to meet up with you if we overlap anywhere!!!

I had Jennifer at MK both Saturday and Sunday too. Let me see what I can work out. Will you have your cell phone with you? Does it still end with a ***27?

Yes, that is still my cell phone and I will have it. We will do the 2nd Spectro on Sat. If I'm losing my Sun hours due to flight times there's no way I'll give up any of my Sat night! Definitely give me a call if you guys decide to hit Spectro after dinner.

Amy and Tom and Chanon - I think I forgot to say that I am very glad that things are much better for you all now, as far as cleanup and power being restored. Poor Jennifer and Kyle! We had to deal with massive power outages during an ice storm in Ohio about 21 years ago. I hope it doesn't take them as long to restore Jennifer's power. We finally moved into a hotel in Dayton for a week!!

I was so focused on getting Alyssa to school on time, that I didn't bother to check if the school was open. I assumed (silly me!) that since most of our area's power had been restored, we were good to go. This year, I also take another little girl to and from school, and her grandmother had to tell me there was no school.

So, we spent the morning picking up leaves and twigs. Hopefully that will please my injured husband. His first PT appointment was cancelled yesterday...boo!

Tom, thanks for checking in! I haven't heard from Jen today. I found out another friend is still without power, too. I feel so blessed that my household was spared that headache.

I'm very excited for all of you who have trips coming up so quickly! Also, I hope anyone not feeling 100%, feels better soon!

I'm Amy (age 36), a very sleep-deprived mother of three (Alyssa, age 4; Matthew aka Matty, age 2; and Noah, 2 1/2 months). I've been a SAHM for four years, and I hold a degree in secondary communications education (I taught high school for nine years before Alyssa came along). I'm married to Kevin (age 37) who recently tore a calf muscle coaching Alyssa's soccer team. He's employed as a county prosecutor and he's also president of our city council. We live 15 miles north of Cincinnati.

it appears that way...I have to call my guide.....strangely, we have really begun to enjoy the epcot side of things better now. so I am not sure I want to buy more.

the maintenance fees on these 800 points is a killer...I think I would sell my WLV points first and then buy contemporary...I just don't know

DS would be pleased to take some of those VWL points off of your hands, but he sadly has no income.

I really need to get ahold of our guide BEFORE those dang BLT points go on sale or there is no way he is going to pay any attention to me. My sale is closed, his work with me is done.

Thanks, everyone, for your concern. I actually slept really well last night. I only had to get up once to go to the bathroom!!!

The biggest problem now is the constantly aching back! Nothing helps, so I'm just trying to find ways to deal with it.

Other than that, things are going really well. Katie is being a huge help, fixing dinner for me, as I recline on the couch and tell her what to do. She's been a bit of a pill lately, so it's nice to see the soft side of her again. She's going out of town with Alan this weekend for some one on one time. Hopefully that will sweeten her disposition even more.
