Thanks for the heads up. I imagine we will only stay a couple of hours. Our Tut tickets are for 11am and they say the exhibit takes 90 minutes. I'd imagine we'd be at the fair by 2-2:30ish and stay til about 5 or so. I guess then from there we'll hit AG.

Thanks for the offer to join you for the race. Are you both running it?!?

Maybe we could meet afterwards for bruch/lunch with Joe and Marci/Lindsay if they are available.

Robyn - Dallas schools have early release on 10/17, and since it is Friday night the fair might be rather lively. They usually have pretty tight security, just be very careful in the parking lots and driving in the neighborhood around the fairgrounds because it is very scary. :scared1:
DS wants to do Race for the Cure so that's where we will be Sat AM. You are more than welcome to join us, or we can catch up with you later in the day on Saturday. :)

Good night, Glynis! I hope a good night's rest will be just what you need to feel better!

Momboss was supposed to go to Houston on Monday, but her trip has been cancelled. Dingbat me - I never even thought about the hurricane damage making it impossible to conduct any sort of business in the city. :headache: But she is very happy to get to stay home, and now I don't have to work late those nights. She has a TON of travel coming up, so any trip she can get out of is reason to celebrate! :rotfl2:

Enjoy your early bed time. Hope you wake up tomorrow feeling better.

Well, I'm feeling a bit under the weather. Nothing serious, just exhausted and back achy, general ickiness. So, Alan gets to put the kids to bed, and I'm heading off. I can't believe it! It's only 8:15 here, and I'm heading to bed. Apparently, being pregnant and 41 is very tiring....or so my body tells me.

Night, everyone!

I don't run unless someone or something dangerous is chasing me. I imagine we will walk "expeditiously", which is how we walk at WDW. :rotfl2:
When I told DS the 5K is more than 3 miles he looked doubtful, so maybe just the 1 mile fun run for us! ;)
I would love to do a group brunch afterwards! :goodvibes

Dana, Emma is the proud owner of a brand new timer. How long should I set it for? I think she finally finished up not too long after you left.

Dana's youngest DD, spent the day here with us as her normal daycare was closed. When Dana arrived Eric and Emma were mid battle over her math homework and Emma's inability to do it in a reasonable amount of time and the fact that she just kept having to redo certain problems over and over again.

I didn't think so but.....:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I think we could handle a mile. What is the registration fee? I'll definitely check with Joe, that sounds like fun too!! We may need to change our return to Monday night!!!

I'm not 41 and I'm not pregnant, but I understand being tired.
 Sweet Dreams

I swear Eric and DH are secret twins.

DS got a note Friday saying he only showed mastery in 3 out of 6 math competencies. But we don't know what we are supposed to do with that information. I would be FINE with him being in plain 7th grade math instead of this pre-AP whatever.

Anybody want a cat? The BRAND NEW Crocs I bought last Thursday were in a bag on the table. Arabella dragged the bag down from the table, shredded the bag, and chewed up the shoes!   That's why I bought the blankety-blank shoes to begin with! She chewed up my other ones! Grrrr! :headache:

Hello I'm Deb.

I am a stay at home Mom to 3 boys ages 12, 10 & 5 (though their birthdays are all too soon). dh is kitchensinkguy. He posts here sometimes too. We love all things Disney and are DVC owners. We also frequent Fort Wilderness Campground. It is our favorite campground anywhere. We also camp around here in New England. In my spare time I am a waitress at a local Restaurant. I putz around with a sewing machine too. I love to make costumes for my kids though they are getting older and won't tolerate it for much longer.

What is it with cats and feet anyway. Our cats loves to sleep with his head IN our shoes. He also enjoys laying with his head on our feet :confused3 I can think of much less smelly places to put my head :scared:

Looks like $30 for adults and $20 for kids if you register online. Not sure if I'll do online or walk-up at the mall. I will NOT do race day registration because that's too chaotic. The 1 mile starts at 7:30 AM. I will buzz you in so you can park in my apartment parking lot and we can walk over to the race if you want to go!

Jen where are you? Chris keeps asking me what Jen is saying about this game. There appears to be lots of action though you are probably NOT happy at this moment.

It was not a great moment. And then of course Emma and I ended up in tears when I had hit my limit. We had a nice long talk about what she needs to do and if she doesn't understand than she needs to ask the teacher because I surely don't understand what she's doing. Compatible numbers, we never learned that!! I know full well though that she knows, she just likes to battle with us. So Dana suggested the timer and we had used it last year (the one on the microwave) but now since Emma is in her own room with a desk we got a regular old kitchen timer. She was doing so well up until the middle of last week. :headache:

I hope you figure out the competencies thing.

:scared1: :scared1: Ack, your poor shoes!!

Arabella chews the Crocs, Aurora chews my purse strap and the strap on my laptop case, they are evil. Both of them!

Eww, in your shoes. Not that I know that your feet are smelly or anything but that's just crazy!!:rotfl:

Thanks for the link and the parking offer. I'll email Joe. I am sure he's just  over all of my emails regarding this visit.

I really need to get to bed. I've got a full house again tomorrow but Mo doesn't have school so our day isn't so crazy. Have a great night!!

Cats just love to chew anything they can get ahold of. That is why the bedroom door is closed with all of my Crocs in there!!!

My throat is hurting again. Darn post nasal drip. I need to head to bed, but I know that Everything is going to move into my throat and I won't be able to sleep anyway. I so wish that I could find a med that would dry me up without wiring me. I want Nyquil for the abnormal I guess :confused3

He LOVES your e-mails! ;) Planning is FUN!

Stupid cat. I try to keep my Crocs in the closet, but when DH opens the closet door the cats run in and he just LEAVES THEM in there! At least they are equal opportunity Croc killers, because one of DH's Crocs was under the dining room table the other day. The other shoe was in our closet.
