DDA Chapter 11

I didn't sign up for any of the food & wine events...

nothing too deep planned...thinking about mnsshp on the 28th (I think, whatever that sunday is) and a bunch of dinners....what about you guys? we are flexible...let me know your thoughts

I am glad your waitlist came through, Kristine. Are we going to try to meet while we are both in WDW? Do you and Bill have anything planned!

Deb - I love Tater! You did a great job. The window looks just fine.

Deb...your talents continue to amaze me.

I always have a crafty moment after I see one of your projects...thank god it quickly passes

That's they way I remember my elem school being. This is strictly during their once a week music special. I wish they had more of a music option.

And this is pretty much how it is all over our area. And one of the many reasons I am not teaching in public schools anymore. :sad2:

WHY CAN'T I SLEEP WHEN KYLE IS ON CALL?! :headache: :sad2:

I'm so tired, the girls are sleeping... and yet here I am! :confused3 :rotfl:

Grrrrr.....

Why do people not understand my "No Soliciting" sign on my front door????? I've had 3 people selling magazines door to door today. It's so frustrating! I hate telling people "no," so I got the sign. Apparently, people don't know what soliciting means anymore.

Sorry for the rant! I just don't have patience for it anymore!

I am on my soapbox here... it isn't that they don't know what it means. It is that they assume you don't mean THEM! Either that or they can't read... :confused3

Huh. I am not remembering things very well in my old age. DS said there WAS a music teacher in his elementary, I had just forgotten about it. And I DO remember the man since DS said his name, I just didn't remember the music teacher part. :confused3 DS did NOT ever play a recorder. He confirmed that.

Most children and their parents don't remember music teachers... :sad1:

However, tonight at rehearsal, the director of the BLS program at UMW came up to me to ask if I had been his music teacher in elementary school. That is second young man this month who remembered me from 30 or more years ago! I have to say, that made my decade! :goodvibes

Elizabeth - you are correct - I rented from her so she's the TA in this situation! :teeth: Though I did get her an upgrade on her cruise...does that mean I can get an upgrade on my room at WL??

I think it should! I think since it is your honeymoon you should be upgraded! Hey... come to think of it, you got me an upgrade at The Grand Californian last year! We were upgraded to the concierge floor (no CL service though) with the wonderful view and the "rose-petaling" of our room for our anniversary! :goodvibes

Here's a sneak peek at Tater

I still need to make noses, ears and do something about arms. Nick can stick his arms out, but it really weighs down on the costume which is attached to a helmet on his head. I may have him use one of his own arms and make a fake arm for the other side :confused3

I had to put a little window in for Nick to have some vision, it is right above his eyes :confused3 Does it look okay?

also does the visor look horrible? The greens don't match. Maybe I should cover the visor with fabric or something?

I love it! Especially Nick's hairy legs.... :rolleyes1

:rotfl2: :rotfl: Tell Chris he has great legs!!

I didn't sign up for any F&W events this trip either. :sad2: There is almost nothing there!

We will eat and drink around the kiosks a couple of afternoons and we have a bunch of dinners planned too. Wonder if we are anywhere near the same places on the same nights??

27th - CA Grill
28th - Citricos
29th - Narcoossee's
30th - Yachtsman

Lullaby, and good night... or maybe... Rock-a-bye Jennifer, on the treetop.

Did either of those help?

OK, I have single-handedly filled up the past couple of pages, I think! Time for me to go to bed now that I am caught up.

I hope you all have fine evenings (go to bed, Jennifer)

I did go to bed, at 12:00am. Then apparently, tonight's "2am feed" was rescheduled for 1:00am without my knowledge.

One girl down, one to go... but I refuse to wake her up until a little closer, in hopes that she'll eat better.

Is anyone up for assisting Nicholas with his Flat Stanley project. We have to send FS off for a month or so, and you are requested to keep a journal, attach pictures and send postcards. We would really appreciate it. After everyone jumps at the chance ;), if you don't mind, I'll let him choose where he wants FS to 'vacation.' TIA!

He can vacation here in MS, it's been a while since I've been down to the beach.
