DDA Chapter 11

Anne Marie - Momboss's mom is an educational consultant. She lives in SC, but she travels ALL the time and goes to tons of conferences and things. I asked Momboss to see if she has any input for you.
She will be coming to town to look at all of the schools they are considering for Princess. She wants to evaluate them. :)

Thanks Elizabeth!

Karen,
Watkins is so cute! Hope he's ok!

Glynis,
Glad to hear you & the baby are doing well.

Vicki it is nice to see you posting!

Theresa you do not seem shy to me at all & you either Vicki :)

I have been so lazy today! I took Riley to school & picked him up, did a few loads of laundry & made dinner, that's it :rotfl:

That's my kind of day! :thumbsup2
Not that Princess and I did anything terribly strenuous. We went to the dry cleaners, stopped by Target, played outside, took a nap. After nap she rode her tricycle in the driveway while I watched, then we went in and I gave her a bath. Definitely not a tough day by any stretch of the imagination! :rotfl:

Thanks for all the good thoughts for me & the kids. Katie seemed much better today. Daniel's nose bleed stopped & he fell right asleep. Today was his first day of school & he was very excited.

Dana accepted the offer for NC this morning...we will be moving to the Raleigh area over Christmas break.

I am :) and :scared: and :yay:
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

And about 4 hours from the Outer Banks (same as for us!). Hmmmm... should we be looking for accommodations at the beach for next summer??? :goodvibes

ooo i am off for the summer ;)

Can you all spare a few bits of pixie dust. It looks like Hanna is going to move up the coast near us Friday night into Saturday and from the path they are showing it will hit us from the west. Which is exactly where we don't want it to hit from. It obviously wont' be catastrophic but Isabel in 2003 was a TS and we ended up with 4 feet in the basement from just the storm surge.
Absolutely!
Yep. We are supposed to be getting it too. The Gov. has already declared VA a state of emergency. Isabel left us without power for 4 days. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for all us eastcoasterners.
I am wondering what we will end up with--each news channel is saying something different!
He is too adorable!! :wizard: that he is just fine.
Ditto!
I got an RSVP back today with a hidden mickey on it! :teeth: Some people really know me. ;)
Cute!
I had my monthly doctor's appointment this morning, and things are really good! My blood pressure is finally excellent, and Peanut's heartbeat was perfect. I'm measuring where I should, and things are right where they should be! I had my blood drawn for a gestational diabetes test (I can't drink the glucose liquid because of my bypass), but they don't think there will be any problems, since I didn't have any with my other pregnancies when I was significantly overweight, and since I've lost all the weight, that is a point in my favor.

I was able to schedule my c-section for December 4th, so unless Peanut decides to come early, that will be his birthday! I'm so excited to have an actual "deadline!" Now, I just have to get everything ready!

Now, I'm off to make tuna noodle casserole. I am craving comfort food, and that sounds good to me!
Glad you had ag ood appointment! Dec 4 does not seem that far away!

Maybe he'll come on the 2nd. That is Nicholas' bday. :goodvibes

I certainly wouldn't cry if he came a couple of days early! I just worry about him coming too early! I haven't told Alan, but I keep having dreams about him coming in October! That scares me! So, I'm relieved to get such a good report from the doctor, and I'm doing what I can to make sure he stays put for a while.

I don't care how much experience she has....getting up in front of that crowd, and the entire nation via tv, has got to be terrifying.

I totally agree! Very terrifying!

I also have a lot of research before the election. It is so hard sometimes to do that research because it is hard to find really unbiased information. You can tell by the news coverage what political party that station supports. I don't care how much they say they are unbiased, I have yet to find a truly unbiased source.

That's what's frustrating! You really have to sift through a lot of chaff to find the wheat!

Peter & the Starcatchers #3 is now available for preorder. It is supposed to be ready Sept. 16. I am going to have to order that as well as Kingdom Keeper #2. I also have to order Tales of Beedle the Bard from J.K. Rowling which can be preordered and will be released Dec. 4. I may actually have reading material this fall and winter!!!!!

I thought Peter #3 was already out. Wasn't that the Secrets of Rundoon?

I've ordered Kingdom Keeper, but still have to order the J.K. Rowling one. Thanks for the reminder!!!

So here is a photo of the shirt and sweatshirt I made for Hunter's costume

I think it looks pretty realistic. Of course having the son that weighs nothing be the lifeguard should put a comedic spin on it :rotfl:

That looks terrific, Deb! :thumbsup2

Glynis yea for a date for peanut, I just knew it would be while we are at Disney!

Sorry about that, but maybe it will help with something to look forward to coming home about. You'll be able to see pictures! I know, nothing, not even a baby of mine, can compensate for leaving Disney!
