DDA Chapter 11

When we came home last night I leaned against one of the posts for our carport, and it fell over. Turns out the bottom had rotted, so that was added to our list for today.

So the AC man was here yesterday and put some leak stop and freon in the unit, if that doesn't do the trick we will have to replace it.

After spending almost $500 at Lowes this morning we have now installed the new dishwasher, replaced the post, and replaced the handle on one of the toilets. We still have to paint the post, and do some other touch up painting, since we had to buy a gallon of paint anyway, and replace the house numbers on the front of the house.
 for getting so much accomplished.

Here's the link to our photopass pictures. Debbie's are on there as well. I'm not sure if I did it right, so don't be surprised if the link doesn't work. I'm not quite sure why they aren't in order. :confused3

Elin - I like your F&WF pic in your signature!! It reminds me of it's a small world and Germany at the same time. (I don't know why Germany...)

Here's our label for our welcome boxes. Hopefully its the final draft!

I have air plane tickets!!! Yes, I know, about time! Well, actually Phil doesn't have a ticket home yet, but that's because I need to call and talk to SW about extending a credit from Dec. We didn't realize that the $10 credit applied to those $100 tickets would date the whole thing to expire in April. So, I've got to see if they'll extend it. Unfortunately, we're leaving earlier than I had wanted to on Sunday. The two choices we've had all along were a 9:45am departure with 2 hours in Atlanta or a 10pm arrival at home or a big price jump. Since we have to work the next morning and Terra will want some catch up time with Daddy when we get home, the morning flight was the best option. :( So, I guess we'll be hanging in ATL for a couple of hours. Or praying for some big flight time changes so that I can get us moved to a happier flight. ;)

Chanon - I'm going to email you the flight info now for ME and AirTran seating.

Hooray for airfare! :yay:

She comes home with silver!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

How exciting!!

Thanks! It is apparently the logo of this year's Festival. I scanned it from the brochure I got this week. I liked the fact that it was different.

If anyone is considering booking anything special for F&W Fest and didn't get a brochure (I got mine because of DDE) let me know what you were thinking and I will let you know what is offered while you are there.

Unfortunately for Bob and me, there will be no booking of special events during our trip. There is no Party for the Senses the first Saturday and none of the other special events appeal to us at all. They have cut way back on their offerings this year. :( It is a very good thing that we enjoy the food booths and we booked so many wonderful restaurants for meals!

I love this! Did you do it yourself? It will look fabulous on your kraft gable boxes with the fall-colored ribbon you were talking about.

I love it! Welcome to the club. I am always amazed when I wake up and come here and I was the last one who posted too! :lmao:

It will be a little warmer and humid here today, so I am off with my iPod and my coffee and my sunscreen to the patio. This 65-degree weather won't be there for very long this morning, I fear. Enjoy your mornings, everyon!
