Hi everyone-
I read everything but lost my big post commenting. Im feeling okay tonight--I was able to eat mashed potatos and a grilled cheese sandwich (not at the same time!) I also have been drinking water and gatorade.
I am going to go to bed early and relax, but wanted to say thanks for the good thoughts!
Talk to you all soon

I'm so glad today is a better day for you... and grilled cheese! It sounds like you're getting much closer to feeling "normal"! :thumbsup2

Kyle was gone tonight until about 10:30, so we will watch the opening ceremony after he gets home from work tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait to see it, after reading some of your comments! :goodvibes:

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, because tomorrow night I might get to spend some time with my "first" twins (Formerly "The Twins"), Ben and Savannah! I love them dearly and they are moving to Alabama soon  ... so I think Kyle and I are going to make it a point to spend the evening with them and their mother if at all possible, even with such little notice. Please pray that the girls have a good night, and continue to improve.... if not tomorrow, I would love to see my kiddos sometime this week!

I'm off to feed, and then hopefully sleep a little more than what has become normal. I'm pooped!

Goodnight all!

Invites are addressed! Now to close all the envelopes and verify that the envelopes are written correct and stamp them. If you see me posting anymore - make sure I get this done!!!

Hey, DDA! Just popping in to ask for pixie dust for my mom.

Her breast is infected. I have no idea how that would happen, since it has been so long since her surgery. She said it is red and inflamed, and the redness was spreading. She went to the doctor today and they put her on antibiotics. She was already on Cipro, now she is on Bactrim. Her surgeon wasn't in the office today, but the physician's assistant consulted with another surgeon in the practice and they decided on Bactrim in case it is MRSA. :scared:

She was doing so well. :sad2: Now I am really worried about her. Please keep her in your thoughts!

My most favorite Olympic moment was when Muhammad Ali lit the torch.:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

I can't even think about it without getting chocked up.:cloud9:

And Kerri Shrug landing on one leg. :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

One of my friend's granddaughter is on the volleyball team. I will be watching volleyball very eagerly this year. Her parents are leaving for Beijing in about 3 hours. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Go Kim!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Jen- Sorry about the face plant! I am glad you are recovering! Feel better soon! :wizard:

Jennifer - Hope the twins are feeling better soon! :wizard:

Jennifer - I hope your infection is resolving! :wizard:

Robyn - I hope Mo is feeling OK! :wizard:

Hi, everyone. Sorry to be MIA. Life is BUSY! Surgery went very well, and I my panties are dry all the time now! ;) :thumbsup2 :cool1: School starts Monday for the kids, and I started work this past Monday. We just finished packing up all the kids' supplies for Monday. We met their teachers yesterday, and I hear that we have the top 3 2nd grade teachers (sucking up to the right people pays off!). They are super excited. BK got a new HSM lunch box and a Camp Rock backpack. The boys are sticking with their blue and orange from last year. We went to dinner tonight to celebrate going back to school since I work Sat and Sun nights. They are letting me leave an hour early so I can be home to put them on the bus the 1st day.

Work Wed night was great. They gave me 3 babies, and I was amazed how much I remembered. Everyone seems nice. I am looking forward to being with the sicker babies in 8 weeks as I like all the gadgets and gizmos. Life is just crazy busy, and I am trying to sleep whenever possible. I still am sick, so I went back to the doctor today. On another 2 weeks of antibiotics, inhalers (I'm wheezing pretty bad), etc. Pray it kicks it!

This week I work Sat, Sun nights, orientation for the NICU for 8 hours (day) on Tuesday. Then for the next 3 weeks I work Sat, Sun, Mon night and have 8 hour NICU class on Friday days. I may not be on a ton as I adjust back to the working world.

Have a great weekend, y'all!

Nice to see you, Denise! I'm glad that your surgery went well. I'll keep you in my prayers that you feel better quickly! Give your kiddos a hug from me and wish them a happy first day of school! We start on the 18th, so not too far behind you!

So, what is everyone's favorite sport?

Gymnastics.

What has been your favorite moment so far during the opening ceremonies?

The fireworks and the boxes that moved up and down.

Favorite sport:

Gymnastics, swimming, diving!

Opening Ceremonies:

I've loved every minute of them! Incredible artistry!!!

Holy Man!!!!! Spectacular!!!!:cheer2: :dance3:

And then the little boy... I was the hall monitor, it was my responsibilty to see that everyone got out....:sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

WOW!!!!!

Loving the games!!!!

Here is another good one----

What is your most memorable moment you remember while watching any Olympic Games?

for me two--- The 1972 Olympics when Jim McKay was comentating during when the hostages were being held. Hal and I were in Hawaii and that was the only thing that was live. We were glued to the TV every day. Anything else except the news was always a week behind.

Watching Mary Lou Retton win in Gymnastics. ---I loved gymnastics and participated during high school so I had a particular love for it. That moment moved me to tears. Again Hal and I were glued to the TV.

The moment Kerri Strugg made her final vault! Incredible!

The winter Olympics in 2002 were in Salt Lake City. I was pregnant with the twins (4 weeks from delivery), but Alan took me and the kids into the city to watch some events on a huge jumbotron set up in the Gallivan Center (outdoor park like area). We had hot chocolate, pizza and cookies while we watched. It was amazing to be part of the whole thing, right in my backyard!

She is always in my prayers, but I will add this specifically. I'm really enjoying your TR, Elizabeth! I hope you continue to have a good time!

You got it. I will definitely pray for her.. please try and enjoy the rest of your trip.

Jen - Take care of yourself.

Robyn - Poor Mo, I hope shes feeling better today.

Denise - Glad to hear all is well

Tammi - Welcome home, I haven't even taken the suitcases out yet, today is designated as "work" day, so that is included. I work a half day tomorrow and then we head out Monday.

Theresa - :sad2: It's always something isn't it. My SIL who just had the surgery now has shingles, half of his face is covered with lesions and one eye is swollen shut. DD is totally stressed out, with school starting, dealing with pregnancy and now this.

Jennifer - Good to hear the girls are improving, hopefully you will be able to get some rest soon.

Terry - I hope today is a better one for you

Morning everyone!
Im up and moving and feeling pretty good this morning so I am going to try to go to my brother's softball tournment for a bit..i really just want to get out of the house (without going to the hospital!)
oF course, joe is not playing so we were laughing saying i will clap and he will yell for the guys

Ive never had stitches except after surgery so i wasnt sure if they would hurt today, but so far so good..my teeth hurt, but i am sure that is from the shock of me falling face first..I wish i could have seen my brothers face, he said he was like what is she doing?!!?

Ill be home to rest but we have a concert to go to tonight that we have had tickets to since April so im hoping ill feel okay enough to go for a little bit. Luckily, we may be sitting backstage, which will be a bit more roomier
