Becky, we had major thunderstorms with pour downs this morning. It was clear when we left the mall, but its thundering to beat the band now.

No, the harness will only accomodate 2 people at a time. Maybe your Dad would like to do it. Mine loved it.

What surprises me is the difference in restrictions from WDW to DCL. For Castaway Cay the minimum weight was 90 pounds but you must be 8 years old. It costs the same price for adult or child and there is no difference if you go tandem or solo. I could not figure out how Colby got to go. But I see the age restriction is much lower at WDW but the minimum weight is higher.

We had people from the minimum age to someone who was probably in his 70s. We had some sibling pairs that went up, none were older then 10 yo.

All the laundry is done. The kids' clothes, shoes, bathing suits, etc. are laid out in the staging area. I'm making progress!

Here's some of the DVC scoop...

#1 I DID NOT win the trip However, CarolAnnC a moderator on the Dis, did win the trip

#2 I DID NOT buy any more points...although I will admit there was a moment where I almost was convinced...but then Bill shot me "the look" and for the first time in our marriage...I played the dutiful, subservient wife....I think it was a turn on for him...but clearly that is not happening again!!!

I can't believe it! But just think how great Bill feels tonight!

How neat that CarolAnnc won the trip.

So if I'm reading this right (and I don't have to go over and read the photopass thread) we can only book 30 days prior? I'd be interested in this for WL since we are there in October - I'm sure I can find some room for Santa Hat's in the suitcase!

Yes, the booking can only be made at 30 days out (or closer, if there is availability).

Well guess I should tell ya all my depressing news.
























Opened my yahoo email this morning to a pin from Disney. Of course we won't be able to use it and its nontransferable. Why the heck couldn't they have sent it before we went in Jan.?

I just read that at the 1 pm DVC presentation, another diser (skylynx) won the wdw trip..

Elise's latest "trick"

She pushes weight on her feet, brings them back under her, and continues to do so until they're up in the air (over the course of several minutes). Then, of course, she's stuck and gravity takes it's toll. She's done this at least once a day for the last 2 or 3 days.... apparently she doesn't mind, although obviously it's not as if she does it on purpose.

OMG, those cakes are amazing. That is what I aspire to do some day. If only I had the space and the patience. She seriously needs to charge for her time. Can I come and be her assistant?

She would LOVE it if you would come and be her assistant! It's amazing how much time it takes to do a cake. I am in awe of the work you do, and how willing you are to do it!
