Elizabeth, did you see the post over on the rumors board about a new plan for dinning? The posters from the UK say they are able to book it now for 2009 so people are wondering if the US will get it too.

It will consists of 2 CS meals and a snack per person/day.

Elizabeth -Nevermind. I misread your original post.

Yeah, that's the DDP Lite that they were talking about.

Elin -- I appreciate your post! My point is that I don't juggle them very well, while other people make it look easy. I also think my guilt is more associated with the fact that my mom stayed home with us and I loved having her at all of my events. (And as an aside, I don't think the job of a SAHM is any easier -- just with different struggles!) You are certainly correct that being a parent is not an easy job! I've said this before, and I'll say it again -- if my boys turn out half as nicely as your girls have, I'll feel lucky!

:flower3:

My Mom was a SAHM until I was in junior high school. She had a graduate degree in Library Science and went back to work planning and implementing an elementary school library system in my home town. I think I realized and appreciated the tough task of being both from watching her. And I learned the joys and difficulties of being a SAHM Mom from experience. :thumbsup2

Thank you all for the good wishes for this weekend!

Elin Thank you for your kind words, they do mean a lot :goodvibes

Robyn I hope Emma is better soon :wizard:

Marci you are always much busier than me. I think you do a wonderful job of keeping up with work & your boy's activities. You just need to find some "me time" in there ::yes::

Elizabeth I love hearing about your dreams :rotfl:

Glynis I love the names you & Alan have picked out :thumbsup2

Elin I like your new tickers! Someday I will return to the Polynesian ::yes::

Our weather is so off for July, it is a chilly 67 degrees right now :confused3 I am so not going to be conditioned for the Florida heat!

I have read about it. That is a plan I definitely have NO interest in. I think out of 21 credits next month we are using 1 or 2 for CS. That's because we are doing Puck's and Tutto Italia that are only 1 credit each. All of our other dinner are signatures. All of our breakfasts are TS during that time, too. I am not a huge fan of CS. The only way we would do dining plan again is if DS starts to eat larger portions. I said that before this trip, too, but then I decided to add DxDDP for 7 nights in the middle. I thought it would be a nice balance.

Just called Disney Dining to see about making some changes & the system is down for upgrades. The cm said to call back later today. I now have visions of all ADR's being wiped out :scared1: :rotfl:

Oh ok, sometimes my eyes glaze over.
If they do offer it in the US, that may be the way for John and I to go. We never do a lot of sit downs because we hate being tied to eating at a specific time.

Yeah, that's the DDP Lite that they were talking about.

Elizabeth - what are the adult and kid prices for the deluxe DP?

Actually if the price is right, sounds like something I wouldn't mind trying!

I'm not Elizabeth, but I will give you an answer :teeth:

The deluxe plan is $69.99 adult and $19.99 for kids.

:scared1: SHHHH! Don't say that! :scared:

Adult is $70 per day, but Janet already told you that. ;)

Thanks, Janet.

Thanks, Janet! I didn't know that kid price. I don't have a kid. Just a very, very small adult who eats almost nothing.

hi everyone!
Im home from Baltimore--i saw the Duck tour boat and the dragon paddle boats and thought of you all! and of course, where we drank our sangria :)
We had a good time--dinner at Unos..then drinks at ESPN zone. Today was the convention..

I have some news.....................
Tomorrow at 1045 I have a second interview!! this is the district that iw as told a couple of weeks ago they had no openings..they called and asked if i would interview with 2 principals!

I also have an appointment on Tuesday with the ENT to discuss getting my tonsils out

I just placed my order with Garden Grocer :thumbsup2

I decided not to go with the DDP this trip. I am keeping 6 of our TS meals, so between those & a few CS meals & the stuff I just ordered I do not think the boys or myself will go hungry lol

Lots of good news for you today! :cool1: I hope the interview goes well!! :wizard:

If our trip was shorter we would have just stuck to the DDE card. I am not ordering groceries because we are moving so flipping many times! :headache: But between having the concierge snacks the first 3 days, the DxDDP the next 7 days, and DDE for the last 6 days I am sure we'll be more than covered. Besides, we'll have CAKE to snack on! Hopefully. If AKL IPO manages to appropriately convey my cake request to Boardwalk Bakery, and the bakery gets my cake to Flying Fish. If not, I guess we'll have to take a stab at getting a cake another night! Good thing the cake is early in the trip! ;)

Lot's of :wizard: for the 2cd interview & some more for the appointment with the ENT!
