Yes, up to 6 days prior to check-in!

Kristine - he's adorable. Love that hair!

So (thanks to Kristine) I think I'm going to be booking a poolside Cabana for us to use one day during our Universal stay. I think it'll be fun and I'm gonna try to get it for Saturday when the football game is going on. That way we can still be outside enjoying the weather, and he can watch his Michigan game.

ETA: Now I checked the schedule and the time for that game is TBA. I thought TBA followed some of you guys around - why is it bother me!? :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Sounds like a great way to spend the day, though! ::yes::

4 month photo of the grandchild Jake

Look at those eyes! He looks as if he has seen the world and knows what it is all about.

Oh please....I am still pondering "the robe package" because of you! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hey, any extra expense I'm not planning on, I'm gonna blame you from now on.
and its not the "robe package"! :rotfl: It's the Romantic Escape at Sea Package and it HAPPENS to include robes. (And I still don't think it's worth it. ;) )

I have a friend who is recently retired. He seems to find lots of "older" humor to share with me these days. :confused3 I attribute it to having so much extra time on his hands. ;)

However... he sent this link to me tonight and I had to com here and share it with you all. Whether you are "there" yet or know someone who is, I think you will all appreciate it!

Amy - When DS was tiny DH was changing him. DS pooped, and it shot forward off the end of the changing table. DH stuck out his hand to try to keep it from getting everywhere. So his hand was full of poop and he was sort of stuck as to what to do next. DS decided to pee. DH decided to start screaming "Help! Help!" :rotfl2: It was pretty funny. Well, funny to me. ;)

When Katrina was a baby, one of us would give her a shower and then hand her out to the other. Chuck was rubbing pink lotion on her bottom but wasn't really paying attention. After a moment, he looked down and she had green "lotion" all over her butt. It took him a second to figure out how the pink lotion turned green. He was so grossed out. Needless to say, he handed her back into the shower to me so we could repeat the cleaning process one more time. He made sure that he paid close attention whenever he used the lotion in the future.

I stand with the "Robe Package"...clearly easier to remember

one of the funnier :rotfl: yet sadly true things I have seen in a while!

Way ahead?, you can never start a bookshelf too early, in my opinion.
I say go ahead and get the books now.

Isn't Jennifer the one that had a long list of books that she wanted for the girls when she first got pregnant and got a bunch of them from Kyle's work friends? If I remember right, she has a very full bookshelf to start out.

Glynis - Good luck to Katie! Sounds like she is on the right track for the reading challenge!
How exciting to have your ultrasound coming up!
Enjoy your time with the kids. What shows are you seeing with them?

Hi Theresa :)

Boy, little over a month old, catholic.

I am going to guess that he is going to get lots of My First Bibles. I would maybe get him his patron saint in statue form. (Can you tell I don't give anything for baptisms??) Or a savings bond, cd of calming music. Or for later...Veggie Tales stuff.

Just read this in Deb Wills' AllEars.net newsletter:

The Orlando Sentinel also reported that Disney will reduce performances of "Fantasmic!" at Disney's Hollywood Studios to just two nights a week, beginning in January. The finale of the daily "American Idol" competition will take place in that park toward the end of the day, although no other entertainment to replace Fantasmic! has been announced. Magic Kingdom and Epcot will continue to have 7-day nighttime spectaculars, "Wishes" and the "Reflections of Earth" shows respectively.

And this tidbit!

Disney's Animal Kingdom is launching a new Speaker Series just for Passholders beginning 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 18, at Conservation Station. The program is designed to help explain how the Disney Animal Programs and Environmental Initiatives team is working to save wildlife and wild places in our community and around the world. The first talk in the series, called "The Year of the Frog," will be given by Dr. Jackie Ogden, Vice President of Animal Programs; Allyson Atkins, Curator of Animal Programs Education; and Andy Daneault, Curator of Behavioral Husbandry.
