Over the phone! (Ask Janet on this one. :rotfl: ) If a better rate comes out and for some reason (99% of the time) it requires a cancel and rebook if it was orginially done online.

...am I missing something about this place? I really don't like it that much. We go for family. There's a big Christmas store (that I get lost in) and a German restaurant. The guys go golfing, the women go shopping. Other than that, I don't see much to do there...
Does anyone want anything??
Ok, thanks Chanon.

And I have never heard of Frankenmuth. :confused3

Theresa - have fun with Beth and her unsuspecting family!

Marci - we leave WDW on the 27th. I bet it will be difficult to find a meeting time/location. We are driving so we do have some leeway. When do you arrive and where are you all staying?

It sounds like it won't work, as I don't think our plane gets in until around 11. Oh well, it was worth a try!

If I could have some prayers/pd/good thoughts/or whatever you've got. I got a call today from the imaging center that did my mammo. I have to go back Wed. AM for a diagnostic mammo with and ultrasound, as they found an area that they are concerned about. I really don't have time for any issues. :sad2:

Absolutely. I had to have a diagnostic the last two times so I hope they are just being extra careful.

Boy -- it was hotter than heck today! The boys lost, but Andrew played half the game and had another great fly ball catch in right field. He was falling as he caught it, but managed not to lose the ball when he hit the ground. All the PD has been helping! We have no games tomorrow, as they seed the teams, then the games start back on Wednesday. The boys are still having a great time playing/pin trading.

I had to take Jake to get a tetanus shot today. He stepped on something late last night, and it was dark so he couldn't see what it was -- he thought it was a tree limb. Today, he went back over to that spot and figured out it was barbed wire. His tetanus shot was almost due again, so he had to get another one. So, after the game finished around 4 we had to fight Dallas traffic to get to the pediatrician, then waited an hour to get it, then fought more traffic to get home.

I'm off to bed early, hopefully.

Take care everyone!

Just think, Amy... it is going to be better from here on out! Can't get worse, right? Hopefully your little family will get rid of the crabbies and start getting along with Mommy a little better tonight.

Thanks Elin.

After Alyssa and Matty earned a double-time out for pushing and shoving, Matty lost "custody" of his yellow Crocs for putting them in his mouth three times at the dinner table, the kitchen faucet sprang some mysterious leak during Noah's bath and drenched the counter, and Noah peed all over himself while I was putting lotion on him AFTER his bath, the evening did improve! :rotfl:

Ah, willpower! I feel the same way about the mint double stuffed oreos! I'm proud of you for resisting!

They are even on sale at Target this week, but seriously, I would've eaten the whole package before I got home! ;)

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Tammi, I had the same thing happen a few months ago & I went into panic mode right away. I read alot online & was very worried. However the majority of these concerns or spots they see turn out to be nothing. Please don't worry yourself.. :wizard: :wizard: for Wednesday.

I thought I'd answer this one before posting more...
Normally it's when the airlines do a schedule change of more than 90 minutes or going from nonstop to connecting. But it depends on the airline. (This is Delta's - which seems to be the one that we are dealing with a lot lately.)

Mine are with Air Tran, the last change they made they had us leaving from Atlanta before we took off from home on the first leg of the flight, we'll see what they do next.

Thanks Elin.

Are Oreos on sale now? Dang! We bought ours on Saturday! :headache:

Why do children like to chew on Crocs? I don't get that. Princess doesn't chew on hers, but the moms at swimming were talking about it. The thing is, I get the feeling those moms don't do anything to discourage the behavior! :scared1: Arabella LOVES to chew Crocs, so there must be some level of enjoyment to it. :confused3

Theresa - Enjoy your bowling ball! :thumbsup2

Marci - Yay for Andrew's good catch!
Poor Jake. :guilty: I hope his foot feels better soon! I actually need a tetanus booster myself, but those things HURT!

LOL! I hadn't even downloaded these two, and Noah was crying (again), so I had to name them quickly. :rotfl:

Which portrait is going to be the sample canvas at the store?

The naked one of them on top of one another is the definite. The others they're looking at, I think, are one of them in sweaters 'holding hands' (I don't really like that one that much, and she posed them that way... which they do on their own much cuter ;)) and the close-up of just their sleeping faces, I believe in black and white. Those are the ones we signed releases on (give or take an enhancement, etc) ... if I remember correctly.

I'm just so thrilled we got to download these, even if they are just small. At least we'll have them all to look at, since I didn't get to buy them all! :rotfl:

Jennifer - TOO CUTE!!! I was watching the slideshow and I kept saying "There is no way that she was able to pose them like that!?" My favorites are the tiny parts and then  at the "Love" pose. You need to put a warning label on those!

Ahh, yes. The Love one and the "These tiny hands..." one had me choked up at the studio  :rotfl:

Enjoy your hot tub this weekend.... that sounds heavenly right about now!

Wow, things really did go "up" from earlier!:lmao: You are really not making me look forward to being a mom to a newborn again! You're supposed to be telling me how easy it's going to be at my age!

Are all oreos on sale? Or just the golden ones? If the mint are on sale, I may be in trouble as I have to go to Target tomorrow!

that they do. Make sure you get the one that has Pertusis in it its TDAP not TD. As you are around little ones. We give the TDAP to all new moms and all staff on our unit had to get one as well.

Jennifer,
The pictures of the girls are adorable...Katie & I are here oogling over them in your picasa site.

Chanon,
Hope you are doing well...Enjoy the reunion..never heard of Frankenmuth either.:confused3

Marci,
Yay for Andrew!
Poor Jake!! :wizard: for him!!!

Since we live so close to NYC we hear every language known to mankind.

There was a silent auction today at the meet and I knew there was a breakfast with Deb Wills from All Ears. That was really the only one I knew I really wanted. There were some other things, but I knew I had a certain amount of money I could spend. I put a bid in and that was the highest bid for almost two hours. About 10 minutes before the end someone else put in a higher bid, so I just waited and hovered. :lmao: As they were counting down the last 15 seconds, I started writing my name ---slowly and finished with 3 seconds left. But Stephanie was right beside me to put her name down if needed so I could win. So,,,,I won breakfast with Deb which I will take advantage of in December on the Mouse Fest Cruise. I cannot even begin to tell ya'll how happy I am. So Stephanie and I will be joining her in the Roy Disney Suite.

How COOL!!!!!

Chuck found this copyright law and fair use synopsis. You have to watch it. It is very appropriate for the DDA! Trust me. I would not be sending you to some dry, boring lecture. :lmao:
Cute! I have to share that with the copy right lawyer at work.

I have to tell you that we definitely noticed a shift at WDW this trip. English speaking people were clearly the minority. There were huge tour groups from Brazil, Argentina and even Mexico. I was also suprised that so many of the family units were not speaking english. I'm not even sure which language was most prevailent since I don't understand any of it, except for a little french and that wasn't it :confused3
I noticed that in January but not quite so much in May.

Our portraits are online! :yay:

There is a slideshow and/or a link on the latest blog entry if you'd like to look at all the proofs (I think around 40?). Otherwise, here is just a sampling! :goodvibes

 :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: I too have had several false scares.

Ok, thanks. I'm still in need of ressies for Dec. 3-6. ASMFS is avail. the night of 12/4. I would have to keep checking for the 3rd and 5th. I'm still waitlisted for DVC but nothing is moving on that front. If I can get us into the suites, that would eliminate my parents' need to buy 2 1-day tickets to get the DDP, since I can get it being an AP holder.
I have a coworking waitlisted for a studio for those exact days.

I went to Frankenmuth just once but I would love to go back:goodvibes

We got in late from the beach..it was just so gorgeous there I did not want to come home.. the kids played with their cousins & some friends. We stayed from 12-6 & I still didn't want to leave...I am crispy fried too.

Have a great night!

We met my friend Terry (from FL) and Halley and Terry's Mom at the Boston Museum of Science Saturday. Terry's Mom had never met Emma. I was about 8 when Terry & I met so I'm sure Emma was a bit of a flashback for her Mom. The kids had a blast. We had never taken the kids there but we did buy a membership and it was so easy to get to (we had the Garmin but didn't really need it). I'm sure we'll be back.

I tried to use my new sewing machine Sunday but was having trouble threading it. I went to the shop at lunch today but was too tired to try it out tonight.

I need to finish a few more outfits so I can think about packing.;)
