Beth - I like your designs, but I agree that the first one is a bit busy. Can you cut some of it out? Maybe leave out the "with Mickey?"

I have to leave soon for my CT scan. I'm a nervous wreck. Then when I get home, I'll take the kids out to pick out shirts and try to remember those other little things that I didn't write down, because I wouldn't forget them. I really need to start writing things down!

Im hanging in there...Still really sore, but apparently not as swollen today. I am going to call the get an Xray tomorrow so I can stop worrying about if something else is broken--its just driving me nuts not knowing!

but our friend is here so its great having him, even though we went out and i couldnt eat a bite..thats one of the worst parts! But im headed to bed early tonight--goodnight alL!

I hope nothing is broken!

Well im up early because my brother ish eaded to the emergency room--is august over yet?! He just woke us that he was having trouble breathing so off they went...We have our friend here and they didnt want to wake him and they didnt want me sitting in the ER for hours again so hopefully we find out something soon--its killing me not being there...

Good luck to him! I hope you hear good news from him soon.

You guys are cracking me up with your vague gymnastics banter! There is no way we watch ANYTHING in real time, so we have hours and hours of Olympic coverage on our DVR that we fast-forward through.... except gymnastics, swimming, and (next week) track and field, which we'll actually watch in their entirety. I can't wait to see this slow start, and apparent turn-around!

(FYI, after the west coasters see the coverage, don't bother waiting for us to talk about stuff.... it could be days before we get around to watching! )

I was hoping to get some sleep, but as you can see that isn't going too well.


So, does anyone else have the same problem as me? I NEVER get everything I intend to pick up at the store, we went last night, and now I remember two more things that I meant to get.

I guess I'll get my meds packed for the week, and then print out some Mousekeeping envelopes.

If I don't have a list I won't remember and often I forget the list. It is so bad I can be in the middle of the conversation and forget what I was talking about.

I'm not sure why, but I'm feeling motivated to work on projects around the house. I have a china cabinet that I need to refinish and I need to wash Colby's walls and do a little touch up before his new bed comes. Hopefully the motivation will still be here when we get back from swimming lessons. I feel bad for the boys as it is only 62 degrees here and isn't predicted to get above 64 today I guess that is perfect weather for furniture refinishing though

hi guys-thansk for the good thoughts...no news on Joe yet..they are redoing a bunch of tests and looking into the possibility of blood clots now...we are going to head to the hospital shortly..

On me, i called my dr and get my stitches out on thursday! When ic alled, they asked wehrem y stitches were, and when i said my chin, they said O you are the one that passed out unconcious --yep thats me

Im waiting for a call back to get the xray information---keep good thoughts going that my jaw/cheek is not broken!

My daughter called me and we were watching it together while we were talking and you could just see that something was up and they just were not really all there. The beam routines were good.

I can remember when I could do a backward roll and that was an accomplishment for us doing the beam!!! Now look at what they can do.

I had a doctor's appointment this morning, and expected to come back to lots of pages, but no!

How are you feeling today? Are things any better? My sister had her tonsils out at 41, and it took her a couple of weeks to recover. I'm hoping that your recovery is much quicker!

My doctor's appointment went well. My blood pressure is up (which is great! No dizzy spells since July 24), my iron levels are finally normal (no more anemia), and the baby's heartbeat is very strong! All is well!

Terrific news! I hope the nausea stays away.

Just thought i would update you. I just spent a few hours in the emergency room. I was having a tough time last night and this mornign so i rested. When i finally woke up , around 1030 or 11ish, i went downstairs to get more ice. I came out of the bathroom and passed out, landing face first on he ceremic tile floor. I cut my chin and was knocked out about 20-30 seconds. My brother got me sitting up and i came to. We called the ambulance to come and get me and headed to the hospital.
So i have 7 stitches in my chin, a bunch of little cuts all over my lips, got a ct scan and im sore...again

My surgeon found out (we called theo ffice) and he left office hours to come check on me. He was going to stitch me up but they were alraedy started on it.

So now im home and resting somewhat comfortably...;so there is the update...

Jen -- I'm so sorry. I hope that your mouth is just sore and has no broken bones.

Hey, DDA! Just popping in to ask for pixie dust for my mom.

Her breast is infected. I have no idea how that would happen, since it has been so long since her surgery. She said it is red and inflamed, and the redness was spreading. She went to the doctor today and they put her on antibiotics. She was already on Cipro, now she is on Bactrim. Her surgeon wasn't in the office today, but the physician's assistant consulted with another surgeon in the practice and they decided on Bactrim in case it is MRSA.

She was doing so well. Now I am really worried about her. Please keep her in your thoughts!

Sending lots of PD and prayers.

We are hoping for less rain too.
(Sorry Marci, I know you guys in TX. could really use some.)
John needs to replace some boards on mom's porch.

Hopefully we'll get some today. The wildfires are getting more prevalent, but thankfully, we don't have a lot of open land so they don't usually get too out of control.

Things with Mo aren't so great today. She is having a hard time swallowing so she pretty much refuses to drink. It's so hard to get her to understand that she needs to drink in order for it to not hurt worse than it already does. She is looking rather pathetic.

My dad and uncle just left this morning for Wisconsin. They have a long drive ahead of them but both preferred not to fly. I feel like I should have gone, at least for my cousin Sue, but with Mo the way she is there is no way I could leave her.

I'm glad she is getting a little better.

Lot's of running around this weekend for us...we have had several parties...and I am exhausted.

Unfortunately, unbeknown to me, Jackie took her expensive digital camera to a Chicago beach...and it proceeded to get stolen! I initially was quite angry...but now I just feel bad for her...she had never downloaded her vacation pics...or the pics from 2 concerts she has gone to. None of the kids are very street smart....we have had issues trying to explain to them that the HAVE to lock up their bikes etc....it's sad to have to explain the big bad world to them.

Oh no! I'm so sorry she lost her pics (and the camera too, of course).

So... Delta changed our flights again! Bob and I decided that we would not be happy arriving at WDW at 2:00 when initially we were to arrive at 9:00. I got my ducks in a row and called this morning. I was very fortunate to get a CS rep who was in a decent mood and I was asking for very little as far as changes were concerned. So now (barring any changes in the next 45 days) We are flying out on Friday evening instead of Saturday morning. Now we have a full day at WDW on Saturday!!

Working on the room for Friday night, as we speak!

What a lot of hassle, but it sounds like it worked out well.

Same old thing around here... It was 106 yesterday, but should be cooler (and hopefully wet!) around here today. The kids are in robot camp, so after I pick them up we'll head home for the Orkin service and hopefully to a phone that is working. Our house line went out Sat. or Sun. I'm wondering if it happened when they were powerwashing the house. Oh well -- the house does look great right now!

Me too!! And she woke up talking. For the past 3 days she has barely uttered a word. She had resorted to either tapping/hitting me and pointing to what she wanted/needed or grunting! It was annoying but funny at the same time.





I don't think there are any out there. The only place you may find them is at an Whole Foods/organic type place.



We saw Darby at Pooh's playground in Fantasyland. Of course, that was back in January but she was there.
