How about just putting to Very Important People with address :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I ended up just putting Mr. and Mrs. VP.

Now on a side note, everyone knows that I'm mailing an invite to Mickey and Minnie and the President. I thought - what the heck, I'm sending one to mice - I'd mail out an invite to the Chicago White Sox team. I found an address to the stadium, which is where they get their fan club. I can include a note along the lines of "We know you're going to be in the playoffs preparing for the Series" or something cute like that.

Tell me I'm not crazy. (And if anyone has anything witty to say in the note, let me know!)

Your not crazy!!

I am living a very boring life....it's not busy at work but it's getting busy at home and I am just trying to survive.

Staples has a great sale starting Sunday for all those still looking to stock up on school supplies.

Cassidy decided to stick to regular Chemistry this year so she's got all "regular" classes this year, except math. I can not believe she's a Junior (espescially when most of the freshmen are taller;) ) But she is also a LINK leader...she'll have a group of freshmen that are hers all year long. The band is down 20 kids...in other words they lost 20% of the band....most are returners so I am excited that I know them. but it makes it hard to revise the sets for that loss. They weren't so thrilled with sandwiches for a second night but they'll get over it. We have 2 that are gluten intolerant so any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Abi is now a full 2 inches taller than her sister...which Cassidy figured out when she ran into Abi's mouth on Sunday:rotfl2: As soon as Theresa gets back from vacation (the dulcimer teacher, not me) I will work with her machine to get the Dulcimer Club on Youtube.

If you want me to pick something up give me a holler....I've got more stuff that I need to send you anyway so it wouldn't be anything to add to the box.

My mouth is okay but I am not so sure I don't still have an infection going on in there. My next appointment is o'dark thirty tomorrow morning.

The way Cassidy said it on Sunday had me laughing too. Then she turned around and said "Why didn't you warn me??" Ummmm....because I didn't think you'd run into her mouth??:confused3 :rotfl2:

Aidan update:

Aidan, got his second cochlear activated a week ago Monday, sorry for the late post, but is doing great. He has started repeating a few vowel sounds and understanding a few simple commands. Mya is doing really well as well, it's amazing and we look forward to what each day brings.

I on the other hand found out that I wasn't the fit they were looking for in California. I still have another interview cycle going and it's actually the position I really wanted, but rejection really isn't fun. Well that's quick and too the point. Thanks for the continued support and prayer's they are very much appreciated, especially in this uncertain time for us financially.

Thanks for the update Deb

It reminds me....I just finished another email interview...and I called on another job with a different head hunter which just wouldn't work out for me (too long of a commute). Craig's list has been the best resource for me...I've been applying for about a dozen jobs a week...on my terms. One of them is bound to work out!!

I will have to check their web site and let you know. I do need you to get me a shot glass for Jeff. He collects them, and he went to Colorado when he was younger on Vacation with his parents. So I thought I would see if you can send me one and I will wrap it up for Christmas for him.

Wow, you all have been slow. Our internet was down most of the day, we switched companies, and when it was up I was too exhausted to do anything but lay in bed with Mo.

Molly made it through surgery just fine. Coming out of anesthesia was a whole other story. She was extremely agitated and it was really rough for the first 40 minutes after surgery. She flipped out, screaming, kicking, trying to pull the IV out and she also tried to jump off the bed. After the hydrocodone kicked in she was able to sleep a bit. We were home by 11am. Surprisingly once we were home she has done much better. She has been eating and drinking and complaining of very little pain. Her and I laid in bed watching movies and coloring the rest of the day. Since she woke up this morning she hasn't talked too much, grabbing her throat. I knew today would be worse than yesterday but hopefully the meds will keep her comfortable. She is drinking and eating her ice cream so I'm not too worried.

Here are a few pics from the hospital...

I'm so glad that things went well. I kept hoping for an update. Poor little princess. Give her a hug from me! I hope things go ok today!

It's bound to! I'm keeping this whole situation in my prayers, and have a good feeling about it, Theresa!

Well, I'm done with buying school supplies! Now, I just have to pack the backpacks, and they will be ready. I'm taking the kids out, one on one, next week to clothes shop. I think it will be easier that way, rather than all 4 at the same time. Luckily, we don't need a whole lot. Just found a box of hand me downs the twins size that was full of pants and shirts. That helps out a whole lot. I still need to get each of them a "first day of school outfit", and a couple more pairs of jeans, and the twins will be set.

Katie only needs shirts that cover her belly! I can't believe how much she shot up this summer! Yikes. In another month or so, she'll be taller than me!!!

Jacob only needs underwear and socks. He's so easy!!! It'll be nice to spend some alone time with each child. They are really needing it these days!

Tonight, we're microwaving pizzas and going to sit in front of the tv watching the opening ceremonies for the Olympics! Alan is out of town, so we're going with easy!

Do you want a Colorado one, or with a town on it?? or a specific place?? If I find my one other one I'll send it to you...I got it thinking I'd start collecting..it's all by its lonesome:rotfl:

Did Alan end up at the Olympics??

I love the one on one time. Katie sounds like Abi at the end of the school year. I am so afraid of getting her clothes...the clothes I bought 2 months ago are starting to be too short for her already:scared1:
