DD9 has an 'issue' with me

Brought up at a little pow wow we had tonight in her room.

Her sister has a friend over- so life is not fair to her...she went on for about 1/2 hour with complaints, then I said- thats it? she said no I have a complaint about you too....

"when we say bless you, you dont say thank you, and when you say bless you to us, we say thank you- so your rude"....

Ayup- lifes not fair to DD9, because I dont say thankyou EVERY time they repeat bless you 50 times after I've sneezed!

If I don't say Thank You to DD6, she still says You're Welcome to let me know that I didn't say Thank You.

I think we need to call DCF & remove her from the abusive environment she's being subjected to.

I asked her if she'd like to file a formal complaint with the police dept I can call the chief for her........

Actually my husband does that too, and it annoys me. Not enough to have a 'powwow', but I roll my eyes at it sometimes. I can see how it would bother a 9 yo.

in our house when one of us sneezes and we say bless you, if the person who sneezed doesn't say thank you...we say bless you even louder.. or if you sneeze and someone doesn't say bless you, we say, I sneezed...
