Our trip in January will consist of 2 weeks on I-drive and then 2 weeks at Disney.

Our Eldest is going to be nearly 4 by the time we go, and our other daughter will be 2, i was wondering if you think that the kids eat free card is worth it?

They normally share a meal, as the portions are relatively big and they are not massive eaters. We will probably eat at at least 3 of the restaurants in Citywalk and maybe a couple of the ones on I-drive.

Is the menu limited when you use this card? Are there any other restrictions? Would our 2 year old, be able to share our eldests meal still? Or would we need to get her her own card? the card is intended for 3 years up so not sure how this works. :confused3

She could share of ours plates, but this means that we have to choose what we want to eat to suit her palatte rather than our own - I dont fancy chicken nuggets everynight for 2 weeks :rotfl:

We've had a kids eat free card a couple of times.

We don't tend to use it that much as prefer eating in other places and sometimes the places that take the card offer better discounts for joining their email club.

You can't use the card with other promotions eg village inn we ate on free pie wednesday - couldn't use the card aswell - 3 slices of free pie were a better deal than saving $4 on a kids meal so no issues with that. Also Tony romas - had an email coupon for a free entree for Dh's birthday so a $20 saving - used that and paid for dd's meal.

Under 3's eat free from buffets or off your plates. They wont need a card. If you choose to share the 4 yr old's meal or yours with the 2 year old it makes no difference.

If you are going to eat in a few places that accept it then i'd get one.

I'd recommend chicago pizzeria uno - DD loved the make your own pizza and village inn. Both accept the card.

Thanks. She is 17 days old now after arriving 2 weeks early :)

Very cute, but with 3 under 3 its certainly challenging - DH's first day back to work today so normal services have been resumed for the other 2.

We would realistically only eat at NASCAR and NBA in city walk, and MAYBE try one of the others on the list.

I drive, we normally eat at placed like Chillis and TGI's where the kids meals are pretty good value. we rarely do the buffets other than the chinese.

We have eaten at Unos before after getting back from Busch Gardens, but its quite far away from our hotel, as this is by Ripleys and we are staying by wet and wild at Four Points.

Not sure how much real benefit we would get out of it.

Whilst £10.00 is not expensive I am not convinced we would spend more than $15 eating at those places purchasing only 1 kids meal. I'm not tight but I dont like to waste money when it comes to disney holidays.

If you eat offsite a lot it's definitely worth it, especially for us since we got them free with our park tickets :D

We're eating mainly onsite but we are staying in Kissimmee this year instead of onsite so we'll be eating more offsite than we did last time, breakfasts, evenings spent in Kissimmee etc

My two eldest are 9 and 6 so they'll have a free meal each, the baby is free anyway as he's under two so if we wanted to (which we don't, love onsite meals too much!) we could go the whole holiday not paying a bean for their meals, well worth it :D

I would probably say buy 1 card and your 2 kids can share the meals

The ones we are looking at are on floridatix this is the cheapest I have found so far.

I am still in teo minds, but maybe for the sake of £10.00 it might be worth a go to try it out. If its not worth it, then we wont repeat it for next time.
