DD11 did the sweetest thing..

Today is my DD birthday turning 9 today. She is the baby of the family. My DD11 almost 12. Got up at 5 am this morning (she is not normally a morning person) and made DD9 Choc. chip pancakes for her birthday. I got up at 6:30 am and they had eaten and were dressed watching cartoons together DD11 had also picked out DD9 outfit for the day. They normally get up at 6:45 I hope they make it through the movies tonight DD9 picked Bridge to Terabithia to watch for her B-day movie. Anyway I just wanted to share

My husband said he got out of shower thanking he would have some of their pancakes (he gets up way before I do) and they had already eaten them all

Hey, it is my DS birthday today, but he is turning 7. I hope that my boys will be like that when they are older, right now, they just seem to argue over everything. That was a great thing your older DD did and I hope your younger DD has a great birthday!

Very sweet. Nice of you to share. When you are nice to others, they are usually nice to you, so your older daughter may get a special treat of her own when her birthday comes around. I hope you'll have a great family evening seeing Bridge to Terabithia. It looks like it will be really good. I know I'm mushy when it comes to family time, but days like you're having with your kids are what it's all about, in my opinion. Happy Birthday to the birthday girl, and good wishes for her kindhearted sister.
