We leave for Orlando Friday. DD is pretty fearless and tall enough for Test Track. Do you think it is too intense for her? I have ridden it several times but wasn't thinking about the appropriateness for small children at the time.

I think she will be fine. My DD5 (almost 6) rode it in Sept. she is a bit of a chicken and she loved it.

DD#2 rode TT when she was 4 and she LOVED it!!

Last year my son was 4 when he went on this, and it was one of his favorite rides!! I say definatly give it a go with your DD.

You should have no problems my DDs loved it also.

I would say definitely no problem. DD hit the 40" mark a month before her third birthday. She started riding Splash that trip and added BTMRR and TT before she turned 4. She loves them all. Hope your DD has a great time!

Thanks for the replies. We'll give TT a whirl. :flower:

My 3 yo loved TT. I would have to say it was his favorite ride. He is not much of a daredevil either. He kept asking to go on the racecars!

My little one turned 4 the month before we went to Disney and she LOVED it.
She is still talking about it and can't wait to go back on the *fast car*.

My 4 year old loves Test Track too, it's a really fun ride.

DD3 Loved it, rode twice..and soarin' is her FAV. Rode that twice also.

My six year old has been riding it since she was three (tall!) and she says that I drive crazier than test track (she's trying to convince her 5 year old chicken sister to try it.)

My daughter went when she was 4. There was a girl in line who was about 7ish and refused to go on it. Some kids are just traumatized by the sounds of the fast cars and don't realize..it is similar to riding in their own car (if it were a convertible!).

I think once kids g on it, they woudl be fine. But there was no amount of convincing by my small fry that would get that kid to ride it and when we got to the car the girl started crying and had to be taken out.

I don't think the ride is intense--I think the intensity is an illusion--but if you cannot get your kid safely into the car without them getting upset or hysterical--then the answer is...the ride, for now..is too intense for them.

ETA: For clarification--my small fry LOVES Test track!

This is DD4's absolute favorite ride. We are Test Track junkies!!!!!

She should have no problem at all. We just always make sure we hold her tight as it does move her around a little.

I read on Allearsnet that TT was going to be closed when we're there (01/26-02/03/06) and we're really bummed...Same thing for the Buzz Lightyear spin...the 2 rides my 4yo DS is DYING to ride...Haven't seen it posted on Disney's website yet...as of last week anyway, so maybe it's just a nasty rumor... :confused3

My DD was just turned four last year when we went to WDW - Test TRack (along with BTMRR) was her favourite ride! When we were there a couple of weeks ago (she's 5 now), we went on four times in succession - and then she cried because we couldn't do a 5th time as the line was now 30 mins! :sunny:
