DD shirt went thru wash/dryer with stickers

Ugh the shirt went thru the washer and dryer with several stickers on it. The paper part of the stickers disintegrated and we are left with gluey squares all over. Help! Can I save the shirt?!

I've sometimes had luck with either Goo Gone or putting oil (vegetable/etc) on the sticker area. I put a little Dawn on after and wash through.
