Life sure is interesting, isn't it?
My five year old, started having little red circular spots (looking like bug bites) on her back last Thursday.. since then they have been on her legs and spread up and her sleeve area and have spread up.
She was playing in a part of the baseball field which does have some poison ivy.. so first I thought it was that.
Then one of the baseball moms call and let us know that one of the kids had chickenpox, and was diagnosed AFTER the game. (of course DD was at this game!) We got the phone call a week ago about this player.
She has had the varicella shot, but I looked at both varicella and poison ivy pictures on the web, and it could be either one.
I called the pediatricians office and they can't get her in until tomorrow.
Of course, we have never had the poison ivy or chicken pox in the house...
