bless her she looks lovely

It takes me back - all the boys on one side and the girls on the other. The girls having a dance but the boys too cool to (actually that continues on beyond school discos doesn't it!)

Hope she has a great time - let us know all about it!

she had a great time :) she went off to bed all pleased with herself, i would love to have been a fly on the wall tho :)
i can't beleive she is going to discos !! makes me feel really old :rotfl:

Nat, I used to help out at my girls school discos when they were little, I loved it doing the Macerana, Saturday Night, 5,6,7,8, the kids taught me all the dances :rotfl2:

I'm pleased that she had a good time :)

She looked gorgeous ~ Glad she had a great time.

Aww glad she has a fab time.
They love school disco's Chelsea's is coming up, she has a boyfriend (sshhh)!

She look's lovely, pretty little princess :)

I still help out at discos at my DDs primary school (as I'm still on ptfa). The infants all look so sweet but some of the junior girls go a bit over the top. When one of my DD's was only about 7 she had to stay with me to do the junior disco. She watched them all come in and then asked me "why have some of year 5 come as tarts". I nearly died from embarrassment.

She looks fabulous Natalie, I help out at my sons school disco occassionally and its so true what WILS says, the boys hang out at the side and skid around on the floor whilst the girls are all 'grown up' and dance and chat properly.

from what dd has said today thats exactly what happened !

Its true in every school I think!!!....I am a teaching assistant and had our school discos last night.... as usual in Key Stage One the girls were dancing in their little groups...the boys skidding around the floor, stuffing their faces with hot dogs and sweets!!!. In Key Stage Two we cant wait to see how some of the older girls are dressed and made up...and we were not disappointed it amazes me how some parents let their girls out like that when they are aged 11 or younger!!. They spend their time fixing their hair and acting cool. The boys just stand with the football 'shoot out cards' swapping them and totally ignoring the girls! :rotfl:
